As a Fox News junkie I must say...SHEP ROCKS!!!!!!!!! Love that twinkle in his eye and that slight sarcastic tone he uses when doing the "lite/celeb stuff" in the "G Block". Did anyone happen to be watching the night he accidentally said "B*** Job" while reading a story about Jennifer Lopez. He got his words all tangled up somehow and that's what came out. I am pretty sure he has never lived that one down! What a freudian slip that was! He is my hands down favorite. I could watch him read the phone book.

I also love love love Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade in the mornings. At some point it is guaranteed that I'll laugh out loud from something that one of them has said or done. I guess they are not officially "news anchors" but I can't think of a better way to get my news in the morning.

And I've got to say...for reporters I'll take Greg Kelly and Rick Levinthal any day of the week. My mom who is going to be 70 this year has a huge crush on Greg Kelly. Too funny!

At some point I just could not take Katie Couric anymore. Now she is like nails on a chalkboard to me. She has gotten into this bad habit of saying "Right?" during her interviews. For instance, she will say to the person "And you were going to go to the dance with the monkey, RIGHT?" or "So then you drove off of a cliff, RIGHT?". Argh! I do still like Matt although I don't see him much because I'm always waking up with my guys, Steve and Brian.

I also like Kiran Chetry and Juliet Huddy and E.D. is growing on me although she wasn't one of my faves at first.

I'm sorry about his lung cancer--I'm sorry for anyone with cancer--and I wish him well.

Remember that blonde girl...Torri Attali not sure if the name is right. She couldn't pronounce a word for beans. We have female weatherforecaster here that has the same problem...If you want to be on the tube great! Speech therapy helps!

The first taping of the Dennis Miller show I ever attended was way back in the 90's and his only guest that night was Wolf Blitzer. It was such an amazing night. It felt as if I was dreaming it, not really seeing it.

HHI, I know exactly what you mean about them making you feel safe. They come into our homes every night for what seems like a lifetime and it is sad to think of them not being there anymore. And as for David Bloom, I can hardly believe that it's that long, either. I read an AOL poll that said most Americans feel that the content of the news is more important than the anchor. I can't say I agree with that, given that they pretty much all report the same thing. But I can say that David Bloom's reports were a reason to watch, because his content had substance, and he delivered it like no one else.

Steve Overmyer is a sports anchor for CNN Headline News. Based in CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta, Overmyer joined CNN in October 2001.
Before joining CNN, Overmyer served as a sports reporter and anchor at KPNX-TV in Phoenix. While there, he reported on Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association as well as Arizona State University and other local college sports. Overmyer also served as host of the station's Sunday sports wrap-up evening program and held regular producing responsibilities.
Earlier, Overmyer served as the sports director at WZVN-TV in Ft. Myers, Fla. As sports director, he anchored, produced and edited the 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. sportscasts. I was watching Aaron Brown on CNN the other night. It seems to me as though he writes his own commentary which is always pretty articulate and well written. Although he is not one of my favorite anchors - I find something about him to be boring, maybe his monotone voice - I do give him credit for being very intelligent and for writing his own commentaries, which I think he does.

My favorite Fox News Channel newsbabes are Kiran Chetry, Laurie Dhue, Page Hopkins, Martha McCallum & I forgot to mention the new FNC neswbabe Gretchen Carlson with a great body, nice legs & sexy feet. Fox News isn't liberal or conservative at all just populist in its reporting of the news along with being fair & balanced unlike CNN or MSNBC which pisses off whining far left liberals like Al Franken, which is a good thing.

I'm not rating them only on their hot bodies, nice legs & sexy feet even though it's mostly true besides the news of my favorite FNC newsbabes just like the girls thinking Shephard Smith is hot so there is no difference. Robin is very pretty! She used to be on the local Chicago NBC news in the morning here....she's really great and funny too! I heard an interview with her and she still comes back to Chicago to get her hair cut.
