Kathy Levine Siting

I was channel surfing today and saw Kathy Levine in an infomercial for a skincare line. She was actually in a "reporter" type of role with some ditz named Loren Chase as the hostess, who pronounced Kathy's last name as "Leveen." Kathy looked good but the product didn't make an impression on me. All I can remember is that the name was something-RX. It came with either a tote or a cosmetic organzer. The funny thing is I remember seeing this product line (it had orange packaging) on the Q. Can anyone help me here? All I kept thinking is that Kathy is either bored or desperate.

When she was on the Q she used to sell and tout a product line called Hydron. I actually find it at dollar stores and Value City once in a while. They do still have a website. Hydron.com


Way to go Reb! Now I have another infomercial to seek out in the wee hours of the morn. I can't help it. I am helpless addicted to these things. Especially the Alexis Vogel one.

HHI - now if only I could spell "sighting" correctly! I have Dish network and channels 216 through 229 are all various shopping networks and infomercial channels. I heard Kathy's voice when flipping through today. I finally did remember the name of the product - it is called Cell-RX.

I agree Kathy must be either desperate or bored but I don't know why she would stoop to doing infomercials or selling stuff on HSN. I think both are a step down from Queen of QVC. She was supposed to have her own talk show a few yrs ago but I guess that fell through.

Kathy Levine left QVC before I started watching it but, I feel like I got to see her, since so many viewers are always mentioning her. I've never heard a bad word about her. Why did she leave the Q?

I think she felt she had "been there and done that" with the QVC for more than 13 years. She had won numerous awards and really wanted to have her own talk show. It didn't work out, which was a shame. She would have been lots better than a lot of the garbage you see on daytime tv now.

What kind of awards has Kathy Levine won? Didn't know they had awards for TV shopping channels!

Apparently they have something that is like the equivalent of an Emmy for shopping network hosts. I think an advertising agency sponsors the award and I am sure the networks are their clients. Kathy won a couple of times at least back in the mid-90s.
