I have always been and always will be a big Regis fan...that is no secret...

for every ounce of negativity directed at Regis...there is a POUND of FONDNESS for him for me...*smile....

The one thing I have always appreciated between our Regis and Kelly was their Chemistry....for me...the very first thing you need to have to have great Chemistry is a genuine like and Respect for each other....I always loved when Regis and Kelly show their affection for each other....they pat each other on the back, a short fond caress on the arm, a tender hug...and sharing food together..germs and all...(i.e. eating the Black and White cookie....Regis taking a bite of cookie where Kelly bit)

I don't live in Reality...*giggles....I love living in the past....I adore our Kathie Lee and Joy, Gelman and ART..... one cool thing for me is that ALL these people have a genuine love and care for our Regis (and Vice Versa)

there are NOT that many entertainers that have the Chemistry that our Regis and Kelly have....and only ONE that can surpass them.....my beloved KATHERINE HEPBURN and SPENCER TRACY....*smile

I completly agree with you. Regis and kelly have chemestry unlike anyone else. there always there for each other when one is down. and ya they share there food laughs and love for each other.

I like Regis, too.

For me, he is 99.9% of the show & his sidekick is incidental. I think he'd do equally well if he was teamed up with almost anyone (within reason, of course).

Did he eventually eat from the side Kelly first bit? I know he switched the cookie around, leading Kelly to comment about it. I wouldn't eat from the same side nor would I eat from the same utensil.......yuck.

I absolutely agree.....don't know if you heard this before Mel, but Reege called Kelly is sidekick (or something similar) about a week or so ago. Ouch. lol

The nice thing about Regis is he can get away with slight pokes or jabs because he's SO likeable & he doesn't hesitate to poke fun at himself.

She IS his sidekick & he is hers. They compliment each other & that doesn't always have to be in a totally positive way in order to make the show enjoyable.

The audience doesn't have to know how he "REALLY" feels about any of his co-hosts.... just like the audience doesn't have to know how ANY entertainer feels about the people he/she works with.

The ONLY thing that is important is that they APPEAR to work well together.

I feel that if they didn't actually enjoy each other in a 'positive' way, the show wouldn't work.

But I think the audience DOES know how the entertainer (Regis) feels about the people he/she works with.

Give the audience some credit here Mel.Don't you think that if 'the audience' thought for just one moment that the two didn't actually have care and respect for each other, that it probably wouldn't work at all? (in the first place?)

I feel that they have to do alot more than 'appear' to work well together.Like I said, give the audience some credit.

I agree with everyone. regis and kelly have chemestry unlike anyone else. they truly do care a lot for each other. regis is always watching out for kelly. they really do enjoy being with each other. <3
