You knew I would watch it. I actually thought it was pretty good!! Not cheesy and over the top. I really like them. I love how much they are in love with each other.
I love that their house isn't over the top.....even though I'm sure all the furnishings, etc. were free (and I'm sure he had some help picking out AND decorating inside the house!).....
I loved her dress. I'd like to know how many calls that designer will be getting tomorrow!!!
:)
Just wondering if anyone else watched....

I watched, and you are right it was a nice wedding. It was definitely not over the top. I loved her wedding dress, it was gorgeous and perfect!!! If I ever get married, I want that dress.
To me their house was ok, did it have a pool? Plus I am surprised that they picked Pensacola, there are some gorgeous beaches here such as the Sarasota/Bradenton area. It cannot have anything to do with hurricanes, since Pensacola was hit really bad last year. I just have seen nicer houses and that really suprised me on what they purchased with their money.
I definitely agree that someone must have helped picked out the furnishings, or Amber decided herself.

Me too, Susan! California.
I envy you guys! I am from the Philippines and unfortunately the wedding was not show here in our country. I am dying to see their wedding so I just content myself by looking at the preview videos from ET and CBS

No and Who Cares? Another poor example of how self-centered tv has become. CBS pulls the plug on quality shows such as Joan of Arcadia and Judging, but this kind of rubbish is put on. And why doesn't ABC bring back the prime time version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

I watched....it was nice to see a couple so obviously in love...boy do they have a great relationship....heck, he is a lot cuter than I originally thought..and she is just beautiful. I agree about the dress.
He was so funny picking out the furniture..."what's a buffet table?" lol...and when the dance instructor told him she wanted them back for another lesson... very matter of factly..."No." lol.......and they are just so regular...his vows to her were so nice.....she taught him patience, etc....I can see the difference in his personality.
Was wondering if his buddie Sean from his original Survivor experience was invited....in fact, I didn't see a one of them. I also found it interesting that they named her home town directly, but listed his as Boston....he lives in a town several miles outside of Boston. Maybe he didn't want people cruising by his parent's home?
As for the place they chose to live...somewhere I remember reading that it was on land that his father had owned prior to their engagement..and his father had built the home.

I wondered, too, who was all there from either of the Survivors.....didn't see any of them have a place of "honor" at the wedding, or at all, for that matter....
That makes sense about the land and the house. I heard in passing that it was a gift from his Dad, but didn't catch the rest.....
His vows were nice. She is gorgeous! I wonder if she has any modeling gigs lined up? I can't believe this would be the last we see of them for one minute.....

*giggles...*smiles my sentiments exactly! *smile (so angry that Joan will NOT be back...and Millionaire is not on) *frown.................................

Thanks for explaining that about the house, I missed that part. It just surprised me about the location, many of us here at the office were surprised...living in the pandhandle with the storms and hurricanes....well that area is known for getting hit hard...

Forgot to say that there are rumors floating out there that none of the survivors were invited, the only other reality tv contestants invited were Ray and Deanna, but they have been friends.

I always did think he was cute. They make a really cute couple. I watched most of it last night but I had to leave for work and missed the very end.
I thought the house was nice. That was a gift to them?

Is anyone else creeped out by the two of them? Who knows, they could just be in it for the money, or it could be just a publicity stunt!

Kali ~ The house was a gift to them from Rob's father/parents. The furnishings I am guessing were a gift to them, but that was never mentioned.
Interesting that none of the Survivors were invited, but they were limited to an attendance number that started with a "2"!!!! LOL

The furnishings was mentioned, Rob said he spent about 40-50k, I don't remember the exact wording but that was his gift to Amber, well to both of them. Not sure why his parents gave or built the house as a gift since Rob and Amber are worth about well over a 1.5 million.

Wow, what a nice gift!
I think there were some bad feelings towards them from some of the Survivors if I remember right? Still...you'd think they would be invited.

I heard him say how much they were worth, but I'd bet a lot of $$$ that he didn't pay a dime for them!!! :)

Skeeter, you are probably right about the furniture, but I hope not, they can easily pay for all of it themselves.
