View Full Version : HAHAHA Ted Leach Calls Lisa R. "Dominatrix look"
Hershey

I'm ROTFLMAO
Ted Leach just told Lisa R. she is wearing Dominatrix shoes. And the camera showed them and they are!!
I just about fell off my seat. Ted L. is always such a dignified gentleman. I barely can believe he knows what a Dominatrix is! I am laughing so hard!!
Edited to say: Ted Leach is the Eterna Gold guy
LOL
Maybe Ted Leach is reading the HSN BB and that's how he knew the meaning of "Dominatrix"!!

I see Hershey is picking on something related to Lisa R. If you check most of Hershey's posts, he or she always picks on Lisa in one way or another. Kind of funny if you think about it since Hershey always says that I'm rude with my comments on this board. Back at ya Hershey!

It's the innocent looking ones (especially with bow ties!) that you have to watch out for. They are the kinkiest.
HEY TED!!! Check out the Jello Wrestling Match thread! We always go first class - LIME JELLO ALL THE WAY, BUDDY!
And...it won't scratch or dent your jewelry!

What post are you reading, princesskv? My post is about something surprising I heard Ted Leach say - he is always so prim and classy, I was shocked that he said that. And who said wearing Dominatrix shoes was anything bad? Try a reading comprehension class.
Edited to add: the reason you saw my post as negative, princesskv, is that you see the whole world through your negative viewpoints of life. I feel very sorry for you; you are such a negative & bitter person. I'd never want to go through life like that.

I agree with you Puddy.... (It's the innocent looking ones....) I did hear Ted Leach tease Lisa about her shoes. It was kind of funny.

Yes, Hershey, it was.....hahaha.
I noticed, too, Lisa was playfully slapping him on the arm when they were joking with one another.
Ted probably had a nice dream last night of Lisa, her shoes, and... I won't go on... I'm sure the boys of this BB can continue this.....
hahahahaha

Hey Hershey, my comprehension is very accurate, thank you. Please don't feel sorry for me, you should feel sorry for yourself! In fact, I think you post negativity just like some of us on this board so why don't you just admit it already. You make yourself out to be this goody goody can't do no wrong person. There's nothing wrong with stating your opinion even if it's a negative one. I would respect you if you could just stop your charade.
I think the post below, shows negativity, what do you think? That's what I thought.:) Have a great weekend!!

Lisa R. Looks Old
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lisa R. looks old in that promo they are showing about her anniversary of the Ask Lisa about Style show (or whatever it's called). Miss Faded Beauty Queen is definitely sagging.
And, I wish her good friend Leslie Blodgett would give her a lesson on how to look natural with makeup. Leslie, next time you stay at Lisa's, please give her a tutorial on the natural makeup look. And, to prevent further sagging/aging skin, I suggest Lisa pay attention to the Philosophy presentations.

Yes, princesskv, that is most definitely a negative post of mine about Lisa R. So?
I'd say 95%-plus of your posts are negative. And you did not read my thread-starter post on this thread correctly AT ALL; hence your lack of reading comprehension skills. It would about Ted Leach, not Lisa. Funny you had to go to a completely other thread and couldn't admit you mis-read my post here.
Keep arguing with me, princesskv - you keep disproving your points. I don't deny I've posted some posts here that are negative. So? I'm not constantly, constantly, constantly negative, LIKE YOU ARE. Vive la difference!!! LOL

It would be funny when the next time she hosts Eterna Gold she would show up in a Dominatrix costume and make Ted eat from a dog dish. :)

I heard Ted's "Dominatrix" comment, too! I always thought that he was (and is) the consumate gentleman, so coming from him, I thought the comment was a hoot! They had a caller on the line at the time he made the comment and when Lisa laughed and said something like, "I've worn these shoes a hundred times and no one ever compared them to THAT before!" The caller even chuckled and said, "Well, Lisa, maybe it's something in Ted's personality then!" I laughed at the whole thing! Love, love, love Ted Leach!!!

Bichonlady - that was an excellent description of the scenario w/ Ted Leach. I love him too - he's one of my favorite vendors. Did you hear him talk about his mother-in-law being a Chicago socialite? He's talked about going to prep school too. I'm sure he is very upper crust, but he acts down to earth and is always friendly and polite, not snobby even though he's probably way up there socially in Massachusetts, and probably his wife Debbie was a debutante or something like that. He seems like a very nice guy. As you put it so well, the consummate gentleman. AND, he makes jewelry to boot! What a guy!

Thanks, Hershey! I live only one state away from him and I have heard, in fact, that he really is just as nice in person as he appears on television. I don't know Ted Leach personally, but a friend of mine has a friend who travels in his circles and he is exactly as you described: educated, refined but NEVER snobby, and treats his employees very well. Makes me want to buy Eterna Gold even more!

I'm not at all surprised, Bichonlady, and your comment were interesting. I like how he sometimes names the employees who worked on or designed pieces, to give them credit. He seems to really adore his wife, whom he talks about, and his daughter. He seems to respect people. What a classy guy!
Edited to add: that's why the dominatrix comment caught me so off balance. It's about the last thing I would have expected him to say!!!! (other than maybe using a swear word)
And with everything said, why would you wear those black "dominatrix looking" shoes with a cream pantsuit?? lol

BR - No! I would not have worn those shoes with that outfit.
Speaking of shoes - Has anyone else noticed the models are wearing clear plastic sandals A LOT lately? Eventually, the straps turn yellow. The offending parties shall remain nameless.
Self-tanner is also a no-no when it comes to those sandals, too.

After I got finished screaming with laughter that he would actually Say that ..... I googled it just to make sure. I thought it had something to do with wadding down gunpowder in a shotgun, hence, shooting the wad. But, from Google ~~~ "shoot one's wad" is to do all within one's power, to exhaust one's resources or capabilities. (This is obviously what ol' Ted was referring to). Also, comes from SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM, and refers to spending all of a wad of rolled-up banknotes. It also has a vulgar connotation, shall we say, and you can figure that one out for yourself pretty easily (think of the gun). Bottom line is, that it is NOT an expression that one would expect to hear coming from a person of class and refinement. Tune in to QVC and hear Interesting Language ....... from the hosts and vendors alike ...... who is next with a charming phrase, I wonder ??
