My future exhusband, John O'Hurley was robbed! Robbed, I tell you! Why does sleaze always win out in the end?

I like John O' Hurley, he was so funny in the UPN sitcom "The Mullets", where he played the rich snob husband of Loni Anderson. When they cancelled "The Mullets", I was ever so pissed, they have 50 CSI's and 100 Law & Orders but there was no room for a hilarious show like "The Mullets" & "Grounded For Life". Welcome, HHIgirl, I'm Putbeds. --- "We leave at dawn ...... Noonish" -John Candy (Wagons East)

I SO agree HHI girl. He charmed the socks off of me. I was dissappointed when what's her face won. Charlotte had so much class too! Glad you brought up this topic.

The chick from General Hospital gave it a good push at the end but that is not enough to pull off the entire competition. John DESERVED it along with his partner. If they do the show again, he should be given a second chance! I loved him when he played Mr. Petersen.

Do y'all catch him when he is doing commentary on the Westminster Dog Show? He is pretty funny on there as well.

We actually get the J. Peterman catalog at our house. If only they would start putting him on the cover! Did you see where he actually bought part of teh company? I just thought that was pretty cool. The catalog reminds me of the old Banana Republic before Gap, Inc. bought it.

HHIgirl,

I agree with you. I think your future husband should have won!!!!!!!!!!!! Although Kelly Monaco did improve, John O'Hurley was class all the way ---

HHI - you are soooo right. When Kelly Monaco won, it was like sex sells and talent doesn't count. I just didn't get their free dance and as for the samba, it was more exciting the night her top broke! John and Charlotta were amazing and were totally robbed.

I agree with you guys. I saw him in a dept. store several years ago in L.A. I think he's gorgeous.

John O'Hurley was robbed!!! He is so smoooooth, has a sense of humor and looks to match. I'd watch him over John Travolta (Sat. Night Fever) any day. Why did that tart Eva LaRue divorce him for John Callahan??? Well, that marriage tanked too.

I had no idea Eva used to be married to John O'Hurley. Thanks for the info.

Yup, and I just re-checked my facts and they were only married for 2 years. It also says in her bio that she was a model for Fredrick's of Hollywood - not surprising! Now try to imagine O'Hurley doing a J. Peterman commentary on F of H clothing. LOL

I love, love, love John O'Hurley! This is a very informative thread - I had no idea about the J Peterman company being real (how can I get a catalog?) and that he was married to Eva LaRue. Wow! Thanks you guys for always giving the best information. I don't care if it's entertainment trivia, I live for this stuff. People are always amazed at the stuff I throw out there in general conversation and it's thanks to this BB a lot of the time.

Oops, forgot to add another tidbit: We have a local radio station called The Peak and he's on their ads as Mr. Peakerman. He's a riot!

Just go to www.jpeterman.com and browse the online catalog, beaglevr. I, too, amaze people with the silly trivia I know, yet I can't remember to pick up toothpaste at the store (for the 3rd time). Incidently, I also read that Eva LaRue is a cousin of Jane Fonda and the Godmother of Kelly Ripa's oldest.

John and Charlotte were on the View yesterday ... very classy people.

I only saw the last couple episodes, but thought Kelly Monaco did a great job! (IMHO), Kelly and Alec's final dance was much more interesting and more difficult than John and Charlotte's, who played it pretty safe. Wasn't that the time to really vamp it up?

I know I'm the minority here ... but to be fair, thought they all did a great job!. If I had started watching from the beginning, I probably would have been rooting for Rachel Hunter ... I've always loved her, PLUS ... her partner was SOOOO cute! :-)
