What did you think of Jonathan Antin on the Q tonight?
I thought he acted like a fool - very unpolished.
Lisa's hair did not look particularly good. The models' hair all looked alike. Can he only do one long hairdo? Short hair didn't look so good either.
I thought his products were very high priced, but everything sold out and went to wait list. Of course, he may not have had a lot of product available because he wanted to see if it would sell before he had them package a lot of it.
All in all, I was not impressed.

Bubs,
I was thinking the same thing, over-priced and did they have 100 of each product? Is his products that good, anyone anyone??
I agree, he showed the same style on everyone. Boring!!

I was very surprised that he did not have more variety in the hairstyles. The LA fashion may very well be long, flowing curls but he is in a national market now and has to appeal to many more viewers. He should have had one or two men and younger as well as older women with several types of hairstyles to demo. I will say that the hair looked nice on the models but it was too similar. He could have showed Dirt on 8 to 10 people and knocked it out of the box. :(
In his defense though - On Blow Out, he walked into a room with the models and said, "Oh, you are the models I will be working with?" I guess he did not hand-pick them.

I've seen Blow Out and the guy is really hung-up on himself. That is one BIG ego he has. However, to get noticed nowadays I think he's doing what he has to but I think some of the stuff on the show is done fake and done just for attention.
As for his QVC time, I actually thought he was pretty good. He seemed just a little bit nervous and unsure of what camera to look into and what to say at times but I thought it made him "real". I think one of the reasons his products sold out was that it had been featured and available on QVC's web site for several days before his appearance. And I, like many others, bought every item to see how good (or not) they are.
