I really don't understand why QVC has to set aside an entire day to scrapbooking. Everything looks alike to me. I'd rather have an entire day devoted to shoes. :o)

I won't be watching one minute of the Q on Hobby & Craft Day. It's boring!!
I don't like when they devote an entire day to one type of product.
Hobby and Craft Day is GREAT
1) it makes me find better things to do on a Saturday than watch that crap
2) it gives me a full 24 hours of not spending any money
3) it is over with before withdrawls set in. LOL

LuLu, you are too funny! I guess I won't be spending any money (at least on the Q) in the next 24 either. I'm just not too crafty, and I don't have the time. I'm finding it tough to get my pictures into an album in a timely fashion. Who knows, maybe I'll get my cardio in and do some REAL shopping today!

I agree with all of you! A waste of the airwaves today.

Brandy, I agree. It frees me up to do yard work outside instead of being glued to the tube, and saves me $$$. Actually, after posting these sentiments, I wish they'd have more hobby & craft days. LOL

I like Craft day, cause Lisa R. usually wears blue jeans, maybe she will give those cream pants a day off.
Lisa reminds me of Fonzi, he had like 50 white t-shirts, she probably has a closet full of cream pants.
Maybe Lisa is a super hero and that's her uniform.
I'm not a scrapbooker or "crafty" person either, so no "Q" for me today either--which is probably a good thing for my checkbook anyway! :) I flipped over to HSN and was watching their Italian Body and Bath show and was wondering if any of you have ever tried any of these products?? If so, did you like them?? Just curious.....I hate ordering stuff and having to send it back.

I like them but I think Philosophy bath products are better.
Also, I would never buy them from HSN because they can be found at TJ Maxx and Marshalls dirt cheap, with no S&H. Of course, you don't know which kinds will be there so you can't look for anything specific, but the Perlier/Eliaria lines are there. So, no HSN for me.

Yeah, I'm a HUGE fan of the Philosophy bath gels! There's not too many Philosophy products that I don't like.

I too am a big fan of philosophy products! Hair care products, skin products, bath gel...by ordering from the philosophy web site you pay only $4 shipping/no tax on the entire order. Much better than the QVC tax and shipping per product.

Kasi, I agree with your advice, and the web has the entire selection of products, not to mention special offers w/ freebies to include with your order. Way better than the Q.

Not a fan of hobby and craft day, won't be buying a thing, which is fine with me, I don't like it when they have a whole day of just one type of thing, ie
fashion day, day of beauty, cooking day, I like a variety of items to be shown during the day.
I especially don't like scrapbooking, to me it is the biggest waste of time and money. I did scrapbooking in elementary school, it's not for adults it's for children. JMHO.

Hi philosophy lovers. Just an FYI and perhaps some of you already know. On the philosophy website right now if you spend at least $60, you get a full-sized Blueberry Pie 3-in-1 shampoo, bubble bath, and shower gel. I believe the code is 'August'. This info is on the home page, too. Have a great weekend! :)

I agree that a full day of crafts is nauseating. You can buy most of those items in WalMart or KMart or your local craft store. What a waste of air time. At least I got lots done today by not being distracted by QVC!

I'm not a fan of this day either. I like to do ORIGINAL art, not cheesy cute stuff like that Donna Dewberry and those ridiculous scrapbooks.
I love philosophy stuff too, especially the Amazing Grace. I'm not wild about the bath gels that smell like food or flowers, though. I do kind of like the Perlier Honey, but haven't used it for a long time. SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM.com sells the philosophy stuff with free shipping over $49 and you sometimes get a free gift.
I think Lisa may be on SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM or something, and maybe that's why she doesn't care what she wears. The poor woman probably should hook up with Suzanne Somers to find out where to get those natural hormones SS is raving about. Come to think of it, I probably should find out for myself!

I have to disagree with most of you. I love scrapbooking and when they have it on QVC. I'd rather watch it than all the jewlery shows. I think the products are fun and very creative. It actually motivated me to finish my wedding scrapbook that I've been wanting to complete. I hope that QVC keeps having the scrapbook shows. Lisa B. offers a lot of great ideas. Alsok, I love David V. present the scrapbook items. JMO

I would think they would have it once a year but to me it seems it pops up 2 or 3 times a year.

Is scrapbooking that big of a hobby? I am totally lost in the concept. I like my photos to speak for themselves without a bunch of goo-gaas attached to the pages of an album. I would rather sell a power washer than scrapbooking supplies. I wonder how the sales were.

If I were to program QVC for 24 hours: I would have Denim & Co. w/ Patti Reilly for 4 hrs; then Diamondnique w/ Lisa Mason for the next 4 hrs; then Labor Day Picnic w/ Antoinella; then Sports Stuff with yours truly; next would be Electronics with Bob Bowersox; and I would end it with It Figures Swimwear with Jacques. --- "We now pause for station identification; this is N-U-T-S" -Curly Howard (3 Stooges)

I have switched over to HSN and discovered the Elariia and Perlier line...I love it and will continue to use these products. I am a die hard Philosophy freak but this line has swayed me away from Philosophy...my favorite so far is Coconut Mango and The Musk...
As for the craft and hobby days...a great way for me to save my money....
