If this is fall fashion preview, what's with all the Birk sandals?

HSN is having a fall fashion preview. Today's TSV is Birkenstock Betula sandals - and all the shoes with one or two exceptions in the Betulas they've been showing today for the 5th anniversary have been very summery sandals. What's with that? If this is fall fashion preview, they need to be showing more Birk clogs and enclosed shoes in the Birkenstock 5th anniv. show - and the TSV should have been a clog or enclosed shoe, not a sandal. Doesn't make any sense. If this were spring or summer fashion preview, then yes, but not for fall!!!

Guys don't look a gift horse in the mouth. We got to see Chris Scanlon's, Callie Northhagan's, and Suzanne Runyan's toes all up close. It was a paradise.

As for Birks making women's feet look wider - probably so. They purposefully don't squish women's toes and give them lots of room, so they are wider, esp. in the front.
