View Full Version : Reege, Gelman & Art Moore for New Season...

It's V...

What a hoot..........not only has Gelman been a fixture during newschat, now Reege feels as though he's got to yank in Art. lol

Good going by Reege, btw. I wasn't surprised when Regis asked Kelly about her vacation and she immediately went into her 'old' story about how much she missed Regis. Oy......same thing everytime Regis goes away. Anywho, Regis quickly turned what could have been a mess of newschat into some fun by showing pictures of their vacation along with gifts for Kelly, Gelman and Art.

Needlesss to say, Kelly wasn't as happy as she proclaimed with her gift 'cause I heard "I want a hat, too" while the three guys were having fun with theirs. Wow. Glad Reege didn't acknowledge her comment.

As Regis was describing what a beautiful party Claudia puts together every Labor Day Kelly did voice her opinion by saying "she really puts together a nice thing." 'nice thing?' Again, Oy. lol

I've seen Regis and Kelly look better.......Regis' eyes didn't quite look right and Kelly was one big puffer face. I also thought as Regis was trying his hardest to be 'nice,' Kelly was a bit 'cold.' JMO, of course. Although, she did seem to melt a little while giving Regis a kiss........or two.

Disappointed with no wedding talk..........come on Reege, your fans want to know what's happening with the Father of the Bride. lol

Same set, same music.......but good to see Regis back.

You can pickles? Kelly looked like my favorite brown sugar and Regis looked the same.

The blowing tubes was something new. Joss tomorrow! WOW.

New season off to same old show.... Regis complaining about things, Kelly still fidgeting with clothes that don't fit. How nice she shows 2 of her kids but leaves Michael out. She keeps airing in public how the third one doesn't look like either of them, why not announce she forgot about sleeping around while Mark was away. Of course she was drunk at the time so it is okay. She feels bad about discussing her nice vacation yet she does and can't find the words as usual to talk about the disaster. She should take notes from Phil and Oprah who are kind enough to go there and actually do something to help.
Shame on Live for not stating any help they are doing for those people.

Hi v,

Really found newschat to be a yawn!! I realize it was a bit subdued because of the New Orleans talk, and I understand that........but.....

Regis tried his best. Loved the vacation pics!

Kelly was her usual........noticed the negative vibes starting right away.........and no, she did not look good at all........ Puffy face, bad roots.

I get a kick out of how negative Kelly is about Notre Dame football.........it's Regis' passion, and everyone knows that, so you think she'd show a "little" interest, or at least be polite about it.....not to mention Mark seems to be into them too, and he did attend that school for awhile............oy.

Wow some of you really know how to nit-pick over everything (JMO of course)...

I thought it was a decent post-labour day show, though not their best (obviously the events in the South don't help). The tension between the 2 seems to have evaporated (for now). Overall a good show!

EDIT: Oh yeah, what was with those tube things?!?! You can hardly seem them anyways...whats the point?

More likely get in the way...

Live! is an entertainment show, and as such, does not (or SHOULD not) milk human suffering for ratings...

How neat that Mark and Kelly had "Sunshine" as a houseguest, LOL... Shame Regis spent so much of the time he could have spent discussing the "Wedding", to go on and on about people who recognized him....

LOL, speaking of the "Wedding"... Who else noticed Sheldon, yesterday, saying Regis currently has more money going out than coming in.... MY GOSH! Is Joy trying to outdo Trump? And Star? He will be having his own 800 number to take donations before long...

I really had to LOL when Kelly asked if the sour looks in the one photo were do to running out of "caviar"...

;0))

PK confused... So did Kelly not talk about her vacation enough, or did she talk about it too much??

What the heck is the problem here. I haven't been reading long, but this board is "outta control!" Criticizing the show I can see, but insulting the hosts, their families and other posters in the vilest of ways, cursing people out, and even wishing someone drop dead is just too much for sane people.

Why doesn't the webmaster step in and lay down some guidlines? Why does he allow guests to post? Isn't that counter productive?

I am a fan of the show, meaning both hosts, Gelman, Art, Joy, Mark, everybody's kids, and all the guest hosts that fill in over the season. I can't imagine watching a show if if I felt this much animosity and angst about everything connected to it.

What would you talk about if the show went off the air? A brand new season has started. Chill! Enjoy! Count your blessings!

this site has always been dysfunctional and always will be and the webmaster loves it like that as he thinks he gets a lot of traffic here. Many nice people have left because of the crappy attitudes of many DYSFUNCTIONAL posters. They bring out their magnifying glasses so they can find any little detail about Kelly to pick on. And if that isn't enough, they pick her husband apart. You have to realize that these are sick people who thrive on bringing down others. About 99% of their facts are facts from the "rags". They have very pathetic lives and maybe putting down others makes theirs seem so much better. It's absolutely SICKENING.

PK, you classless hillbilly.

Most people like to give their daughters the nicest wedding they can afford.

People with taste have a wedding in a beautiful venue. Hillbillies have one in the local K of C Hall or in the backyard behind their dilapidated shack.

People with taste wear beautiful clothes. Hillbillies wear a dress they found at the local salvation army.

People with taste have a florist create wonderful bouquets and certerpieces. Hillbillies pick dandelions and whatever else they can find in the backwoods.

People with taste have a five star meal. Hillbillies have suqirrel stew.

Get a grip, you sound so jealous of the Philbins.

Geesh, still nothing about the Wedding. Give us something Regis......

How funny about 'the picture.' I'm thinking Susan G. would be the most upset. As for their group picture at dinner........stunning. The sunset, the water and, of course, the ladies were lovely. Joy, especially, is just beautiful. Always nice to see and hear when those two couples get together.

LOLOL.... Curious....

People with class and taste, never have to talk about it and those who are obsessed with both seldom have either.... So, that being established, there is a perfect word to describe you, Sweetie.... "Snob" - though I have a feeling most snobs would be insulted to have you described thusly...

Not only have you no "Class or Taste", and have no concept of what constitutes same, you know nothing about "Hillbillies", either... So, how dumb does that make you? Well, you are obviously smart enough to use the Anon Site to post your silly ramblings... How long did it take you to come up with that particular "gem" of a post, anyway?

What did I say that would make you think I am jealous of the Philbins? A comment on how expensive the wedding will be? He has already been crying a steady stream about the cost... Considering the amount of money he makes, I still find it mind boggling that he is spending more than is coming in... And, LOL, it's not even deductible... I can certainly understand why he is finding the wedding so stressful...

Have you gotten your invitation yet? <wink>

People "with good taste" know that a marriage has nothing to do with "the day" and everything to do with every day after......people do not get "married" on their wedding day.....it is a formality......people "with good taste" would not care what they looked like, or how much it cost.....but rather would care about how much they loved each other, and how they were going to live their lives together!!!

"people with taste" don't care what they eat; they much rather prefer the company of friends.

But most of all, "people of taste" don't put other people down, at anyone's expense.

The tabloids are written as fact also, does that make them fact? Of course Regis didn't interrupt him and contradict him, he is good at letting stuff like that just roll off of him, plus he knows that Howard needs to create some drama in his segment or he will be boring.

Regis makes millions and millions of dollars a year. There is no way a wedding could even be making a dent. Shtick, shtick, shtick.

<<LOL, speaking of the "Wedding"... Who else noticed Sheldon, yesterday, saying Regis currently has more money going out than coming in.... MY GOSH! Is Joy trying to outdo Trump? And Star? He will be having his own 800 number to take donations before long... >>

I mean, if that's not begging for rebuttal, what is? Just happy to oblige.

<<<<<<Isn't it normal for (normal) parents of (normal) brides to have to "dip into (normal) savings" to fund a (normal) wedding?>>>>>>>

huh??????????????????

I wouldn't call Regis and Joy "normal" parents (financially), nor JJ a "normal" bride (again in terms of finances), Regis I'm sure has anything but "normal" income and "savings", and this certainly doesn't sound like a "normal" wedding! How foolish!

OK... Lisac... (What did I tell you about using "huh" so much...)

So, if Regis can pay for the wedding without touching savings, or "borrowing" - same token... Then why would Howard make that comment at all?? Surely the wedding will cost more than one month's income, or he's not as fond of JJ as you all seem to think... How many here have equated a high priced wedding with how much parents "love" their daughter?

Susan... It looked like a tantrum, and it walked like a tantrum...

So... Evidently you didn't feel your rebuttal was adequate?? Because you verly quickly jumped to Kelly and Mark bashing, and fell into the very trap you climbed all over my butt for doing in the past... "tit-for-tat"...

So.. I see I am to catch all the hell for all the comments made all the anon posters from you, too... I am sensing a pattern...

Really, though, which part of my original comment irritated you the most? That Regis might be having a cash flow problem because of an expensive wedding, that Joy might be trying to outdo Trump and Star, or the toll free number "shtick"? The only one out of the realm of possibility is the third... (Sorry, BDSMA...<wink>)

;0))

this will be my last reply to this because you sound so crazy and over-the-top that something HAS to be wrong..........lol

I'm wondering how someone like Howard Sheldon could possibly know anything about Regis' financial status...........which, for the record, I believe to be incredible. How could it not be?

Like I said, I can't even believe we are talking about something like this.....it's beyond stupid!!!

LOL I don't for one moment think this wedding is going to make much of a dent in Regis's wallet..How much is the guy worth?

and if I am following this thread right, this is all based on a prediction???

Hi L :)
Susan get making you pie, before summer is gone :)

Aw...

Please, Lisac... Do feel free to stop talking, just once, anyway...

Hey... Perhaps Regis told Howard?? They have been doing this for many years..

Tell you what, Lisac, you run the numbers... Figure out Regis monthly salary, less taxes, less the COL in NYC and second home in CT, and membership at Trumps Country Club, etc., and a kid still in college, right? Then calculate what you think the wedding will cost... Get back to me when you have evidence Regis is NOT dipping into savings to pay for the wedding...

You know, though, so if Regis is not spending all his salary, every month (and he doesn't strike me as being THAT frivilous), he is saving the rest, right???

The wedding is NOT FREE - unless he manages to pull a Star Jones... <wink>, so whatever he IS spending is technically coming from, where??? All together now... His S A V I N G S!!!

ROFL, as you are so fond of saying...

I think the "foolish" and "stupid" one is now evident, Lisac... (Don't bother, I will just repeat your original 'huh' in my mind...)

I really don't get it... Goodness, you'd think I was making a moral judgement against the guy... <wink>
