So I glance absentmindedly at the TV and see this green and black THING (for lack of a better description) Susan Graver "designed." Thinking today must surely be April Fool's Day, I start to daydream about all the fun I'm going to have in the summer months ahead. As I'm thinking about the condo at the lake, the outdoor concerts, and acres of fresh strawberries, my desk calendar catches my eye. I'm puzzled. It says September 15. I snap out of my mid-afternoon fog and realize that indeed, it IS September 15! It's NOT April 1! And this green and black monstrosity is for real! This can't be. Something's wrong here.

Wait a minute, I hear the shower running...maybe Patrick Duffy's in there, and this has all been just a bad, bad dream...

Curvigirl - How about this turtleneck-cabled-pointelle-elephant-sized poncho? "Instant drama"? "It's so different"? From what? Not from the huge blanket I curled up on the couch with last night. "All the models want it"? Oh, sure they do. btw, i love Dallas. LA

I was thinking, add a couple of tent poles to that poncho thing and I could go back to my summertime fantasy!

I'm 5'3", I think I'd actually trip over it.

(BTW, the green and black horror was actually teal and chocolate. My mistake. The good news is, I think I'll be able to give up chocolate now.)

It gets worse! I hadn't even noticed who was hosting the show--I just now saw her and thought, "Wow, Laurie must be close to having that baby"...only to realize the host was actually Jackie!

Jackie, do yourself a favor, stay away from belted dusters. And if anyone told you it looked good, they are NOT your friend. Really.

I just switched from the news to QVC and I was thinking....what's up with those pants, that long blazer.......then I noticed Jacque's shoes and how they look horrible with this outfit!!!!

OMG, all she needs over that is the tent Poncho and she'll be "Plus Size". I love the way they always embarass the models: "I'm wearing the small. Joy, you are wearing what size? Small? Okay and Melissa is our Plus Size model and she is wearing the O-N-E X". We aren't blind. We already know this. If we were blind, well, we couldn't see the models in the first place! Mean, mean.

With a longer duster the pants need to be fitted and straight legs. These pants made petite Jacque look huge!!
