Good Morning ALL!

I am so upset this morning. When I was on my trip last week to Spokane Wa., we went into Idaho to buy powerball tickets. My hubby only bought them for last Satuday, but me, being the smart one, bought them for last Saturday, and also for last night. I thought that my ingenuity would have afforded me the jackpot last night. It didnt.. I am so sad now... WA WA...

I didn't win either. I had my job quitting speech all ready too :)

Paula, I thought I was going to win also, went to the Hermes website and had my Kelly Bag all picked out. You know the $31,000 red one that I am so fond of :)

Whoa $31000, Garnet? Is it lined in 18K gold? :)

Garnet:

If I would have won, I would have bought it for you.

After all, 340 million dollars, at that point 31,000$ would be considered pocket change, wouldnt it?

Lexy, I am sure it's real leather but not sure what the hardware is made of, for that price you would think it was pure gold :)

You are such a sweetheart, thanks for the offer :) If you had won, we could have flown to Paris together to pick it up. You know how we always talk about going on a shopping spree together, this would have been the perfect opportunity. DAMN!!!!

Hi Everybody! I'm not the big winner either - actually I'm not even a little winner this time. I guess I'll just tuck my wish list back in it's place for now.

OT Paula, I hope things are improving for you and I'm sorry you're having such a hard time right now. It'll get better - it has to, right? :)

... sigh ... hi ladies ... I just KNEW that I was going to win!

... sigh ...

Hell, with that much money, I would have bought ALL OF US the Hermes Kelly bag, in every color! I would have flown us ALL to the fabulous Hermes shop in Paris to do so ...

... sigh ...

Beaglelvr: Yes, it has to get better, I really do not think that it could get worse....Thanks! :-)

Garnet, That is funny that you say that. I 'had" a brother in law, whose aunt felt like going shopping, so she hopped a plane and off to Paris she was.

I will win some day, just not this day. :-)

I heard on Fox News this morning that there is only one winner and this person is from Oregon. WOW.

Anyone on this board from Oregon???

I'm not from Oregon, I live in Vancouver WA, but I work there (in Portland). The winner is from some little town in southern Oregon. I didn't even buy a ticket... I forgot!

A NH Senator won 2nd place in the lottery, $850,000, after buying twenty tickets. He says he will donate the money to cancer research but I didn't hear whether he said "all" the money.

Very nice of him to donate to cancer research. Hopefully its most of it!!

I'm disappointed that I didn't win, either, but I just *know* I'll win next time. I feel so confident, in fact, that I'm actually buying some tickets! :-)

(Usually, I prefer just flushing the money down the toilet, lol.)

It's so funny that people who would never normally buy a lottery ticket will buy them when the jackpot's super high...like the starting pot of 2 mil or whatever it is isn't good enough, LOL. I'm actually one of those people. :)

Here in New Jersey; We have the Big Game and it's up to $180 MILLON and the drawing is tonight (Friday Night). I play that and the Pick-6 which doesn't go up much as the Big Game. I play that and the Pick-3 and Pick-4. But I only play $20 a day, unlike my late aunt who would play at least $60 to $70 a day and when the televised drawings would come on and her number didn't come out; she would pound the easy chair with her fists. A real treat that I sorely miss almost 7 years after her death. If I win the Big Game tonight; I got it all planned out: Moving out of my lousy apartment and NOT missing the landlord's brats who run around every hour on the hour. Getting my dream house and then some. I can see it now: Soaking in my kick-ass Jacuzzi with 2 gorgeous ladies (Patti Reilly & Caroline Rhea); sipping Pepsi out of champagne flutes and watching the Mets on my plasma TV. ---- "Hey Mister; Can You Spell Shit?" -D.B. Paula, winning the MD Lottery would be perfect, its exactly what you and DH need right now. Not that it would take away what you are going through but it would be nice :) I will keep my fingers x crossed.

Btw, they interviewed the family from Oregon who won the recent Powerball on Good Morning America. Speaking of lotteries: The Big Game is up to $310 million for Tuesday Nov. 15th drawing. Since TBG is in New Jersey, yours truly is in it. Yesterday, I was at my hangout, a local diner, watching the Dolphins game (the y lost) and I have become friendly with this nice waitress. She's a cute looking one at that but I told her when I win the Big Game and I get my dream house; that she has an invitation to soak in my 10-person jacuzzi. God, I don't want to win the whole thing (I wanna see 1 or 2 others share in it); I'll take at least $70 Million. I'll tell you one thing; When I win on Tuesday; I'll get the dream house with Big Screen TV and DIRECTV. A heated outdoor pool and 10-person jacuzzi. A game room with pinball machine, pool table and ping pong table. Also, I'd get a luxury box at Shea Stadium. ---- "I Lie; I Cheat; I Steal" -Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005
