Happy everything!
Now you reminded me Mia, I need to finish my Christmas shopping. I try to be done before Thanksgiving so I don't overbuy near the end. I am famous for that....I start out with one good gift, and all of a sudden I add 5 little ones to it. Not to mention the extra wrapping that entails.....another thing that I go overboard on. lol
I really love the whole gift giving experience....I am kind of wacky about it. I have all of my Christmas lists for the last 10 years.....so I don't duplicate ideas too close together. My Mother thinks it is silly, but it really helps me...I carry them with me, so I know who I already bought for, and what I bought.
The last couple of years I try to stay away from the stores (if at all possible) during the last 3 weeks, because they put out so many neat ideas, stocking stuffers and sales, that I cannot resist.

Wow I thought I was organzied! That's a great idea keeping old lists, especially if you have a lot to buy for.
I found x-mas shopping much easier when Jess was young. Barbies galore..
It's a lot harder now.
My other big problem is Dan's birthday is right before x-mas..so I run out of ideas for him fast.

BAD,BAD,..AWFUL SHOW!!!!!.....Threw up a couple of times already!.....They just came out as the OLSEN TWINS!....FU**ING TERRIBLE!.....Even the audience hasn't been laughing!!!....*!@#$%^&*()(*&^%$#@....Just threw up again!!!
For several years, I've been buying right after Xmas.
For the office staff and some others I buy either an ornament, music box, etc. After the holidays, the pricey ornaments, etc. are 50%+ off at Bloomies.
Same goes for wrapping paper. Best bargin for ribbon on a roll is Costco.

<<<Happy Halloween to all!>>>
Happy Halloween to you, too. Any trick-or-treaters in the City? The kiddies in our area were out last night....just lots of parades today/tonight.
Scoops....I am jealous. You like to be finished by Thanksgiving? Oh brother........rub it in, why don't you? lol Actually, I always save a few presents so I can go out into the mad rush on Christmas Eve. lol I love the hustle & bustle....and if we get lucky and have some snow flurries, all the better.
Anyone have anything special they must get for someone special on their list? A gift that the person really, really wants? Anyone having trouble finding that particular gift? All of a sudden, Scoops has got me in the Christmas Spirit............lol.
Speaking of Christmas.....anyone get Reege's CD yet?
V, hi!
<SPAMSPAMSPAMny trick-or-treaters in the City?>>
My first trick-or-treater since I moved back rang my doorbell tonight. Some little kid from the 5th floor. They moved into the building this year. (For security reasons, doorman doesn't let outsiders into the building.)
What a dilema......I only had real food and no candy. Either a can of soup, some rice, frozen meat/fish or a dollar. I gave him the soup.
(Just kidding!)
I gave the kid the dollar. He looked at it kinda of funny......probably thought I was cheap.

I was thinking about starting a thread re the above. I'd like to buy a nice watch for the guy I date. Maybe, a Tag or something similar. (Don't want it to be too pricey in case this doesn't last.) Has anybody bought a nice watch for less $$ on the internet. A reliable source?
He now has a Tag that's taken a beating because of the work he does. Any other brand suggestions?
