Our QVC.com Operations Division has an exciting opportunity for a talented college student to become a Webste Developer INTERN at our Studio Park location. Under the direct supervision of the HTML Production Manager, build web pages for QVC.com site. Work closely with creative, merchandising, content, architecture, and technical team to convert design or concept into Web pages by incorporating copy and graphic requirements from the design team, business needs from the merchandising or marketing team, architecture standard from the architecture team, and technical constraint from the technical team, within tight timeline constraints. Stage created Web pages for testing and migrate them into production environment.

Qualifications & Requirements: ~ MUST BE A MATRICULATING STUDENT. ~ 1+ years of experience building web sites using hand-coded HTML ~ Firm understanding of HTML, capabilities of Web browsers, and constraints involved in designing for online media. ~ Knowledge of Dreamweaver and PhotoShop or PaintShop ~ Knowledge of JavaScript, DHTML, CGI, PERL,ASP, XML, Flash, and other Internet technology a plus, but not required. ~ Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong business and technical sense. ~ Investigative mentality ~ Demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
