Looks like she is back to the old style again today. She's back to the old look, and is wearing the matronly clothes again.

check out the Affinity Diamond show on now -- MBR in a short-skirt suit showing a nice bit of thigh :-)

Oh boy! Her hair and clothing is still pretty matronly. I'm her age and would never dress like that old-ladyish!
I think you could put MBR in a leather outfit and she would still look like a church-lady.
Some women just have that matronly look!

She looked pretty youthful the other day with that new hairstyle, and was dressing a little more stylishly, too. Maybe viewers prefer that wholesome look, so she switched back.
Maybe she is trying to get feedback from US!! Seeing if people start threads about her looks?? LOL

On some past shows, I've seen her wearing leather skirts and at least one show she wore leather pants -- how many "wild" points does MBR get??

I'm not into leather that much and I don't think MBR's figure or personality is suited to it. Maybe a leather jacket and a cute top and pants would be enough to jazz her up a bit, and go back the the new hairstyle from the other day. The style she is wearing today is from the 80's!

I've seen her from her earliest days on the Q and she's never been much of a fashion plate. She always looks good on those Nolan Miller shows. His clothes are so gorgeous and she should wear them more often. They're very ladylike, too. I think that her lifestyle as a mother and a church lady are important to her and she tries to convey that on camera. Oh, and her cookbook was awful. It was full of 50's style recipes like chicken in lemon pudding or grape jelly. Blechhhh.

I know it was at least a few years ago, but I actually LIKED MBR's old hair style. She always refers to it as her "pageant hair" but it wasn't over the top, and I do think it made her look younger.
Think the hosts get nervous when they attempt any kind of new look, but she did look better with the longer, straighter style she attempted last week.

I think she looked better last week, today's hair looked like that old matronly style she had before...

Anything had to be an improvement. I like her hair longer.

I'm not fond of MaryBeth's new 'do. It does look matronly and it's too long.
But she still remains one of my favorite hosts.

I like her hair longer too. NOT past the shoulders ... but it's looking good now. There are days shen it's back to the soccer mom look ... and others when it's a bit more trendy. She's such a sweetheart ... I'd really hate for her to do a wispy trendy style ... it just wouldn't fit her personality!

She has to stop wearing those "royal" colors, such as red (Ronald McDonald), royal blue, etc. which tend to make her look older. She seems stressed out alot, lately, so that could make her look older too. A few minutes on the treadmill could help her out.
Was she on the Christmas Show this year with her family? If she was, I missed it.

I think Mary Beth's hair always looks great whenever there is an stylist doing hair on the air and selling products (Nick the Dick, etc.). Apparently, neither Mary Beth nor her hairdresser have a clue as to what looks terrific, but these guys sure do! One thing--I think Mary Beth's clothes would look better on someone who is 60! She must be very self-conscious about her hips--nine times out of ten she wears something with a jacket, a duster or a cardigan top--and when she bypasses those, she ties a sweater around her waist. I'd like to see her break out ang get a little adventuresome as far as clothing is concerned--forget the coverups!
