I may be wrong but while 'glancing' at Cooking with the Boob today they did a closeup of his wrist and it looked like he was wearing a med bracelet? This may have been discussed before but obviously I have missed it. Could this be for his disease Actingay? Meaning if she starts acting Too Gay one should call 911????

LOL, Vivvie - I think that the med bracelet is exactly for that - his meds. He isn't a "spring chicken" after all!!

I noticed the med bracelet also. Maybe he takes SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM or SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM, and he has to wear it in case he gets one of those 4 hour side-effect erections that you have to go to the emergency room for. It seems like a man that has to brag about being able to drive a stick shift would be the type to use these kind of drugs.

Can you people find something else to ditch?

No, he isnt Mr Personality, but I do like him and I do watch him on Sundays. I have learned quite a few things from him...He has a dry sense of humor... I have met him, on more than one occassion and he is a nice man...

Didn't your mothers teach you if you can not say something nice about someone, then not to say anything at all?

Years ago QVC sold a medical alert bracelet and I kind of remember Bob talking about wearing one and showing it to the camera. I do not recall his medical condition. Boy, this may have been 15 years ago.

Hey, everyone,

I have to say that the BowerGuy isn't my favorite, but I did peek at his Web site. The reason that driving a stickshift is on his list of skills is that, as an actor, he may be up for a role where he has to drive a truck, a 50's car, etc.

Driving a stick is not necessarily something that many people know how to do anymore. Personally, I love driving a manual, but I know others who won't even get behind the wheel to learn.

Now, about how he wears his pants....:)

Bob Bowersucks has worn that med bracelet for years and years--I've been watching for about 15 years, and he's always had it on. Who knows what his medical condition is? Who cares? Is lack of personality a medical problem? How about know-it-all-itis?

I do not think that they make a bracelet for that....

He does knows his stuff, when it comes to cooking...

Jas,
That is just too funny about the 4 hour situation!!

Your E. Protector sure would come in handy then, wouldn't it?

Yes, LL, it certainly would! We need to work on an invention for taking the stick out of the butts of those without a sense of humor, too. We'll need a catchy name for it, so we better get busy!

Wheels are in motion, Jas. Give me time, my friend, give me time.

Thanks Jas and LL ---> I agree we need to come up with a name for those who do not see this board as a place of FUN! Most days this board is my sanity - it makes me laugh, regardless of the fun poked at people. My opinion - if people do not like what we post (in fun) then find another board and let us ENJOY ourselves. There. Vented. Feel much better. Refill wine glass.
