What they consider style is just a tiny little step above Walmart. The best shows will be the ones with the makeup and handbags. It's pretty disappointing that most of the stuff is made in China or Korea. Someone should start a shopping channel with everything made in the US. I think that would be a hit, and might help our small business people get a jumpstart to a better life.

I don't know why I keep buying their clothes. I haven't worn a single thing I've bought from QVC. No wait..I did wear a corduroy jumper I bought years ago. But lately I've ordered some things from Dialogue and Denim & Co that I thought would be really cute and trendy. But when I got the stuff I was dissapointed with the way it looked in person..looked like cheaply made garments...definitely was not worth the price I paid. Maybe some people have alot of luck with clothes from QVC but so far-not me. Maybe I'm too picky......

I can assure you that your not to picky kitten.....There are clothes with much better quality sold at stores like Target, Kmart, and Walmart.....Most of the clothes on the Q reminds of of the stuff grownups don't want, and give little kids when they want to play dressup...

I agree. The clothes truly WERE of much higher quality not too long ago. Everyone is trying to cut corners, but boy, howd - it sure does look like it.
Makeup and handbags are always fun, though.
I think that an "all-American" shopping channel is a fantastic idea!!!
What I've seen so far (Modern Soul & Quacker Factory) hasn't thrilled me. Before I left for work I saw the blue menu with what's coming up through noon and that didn't thrill me either. Maybe they're saving the good stuff for tonight? Who knows? I agree with Jasmine, though, the best shows will probably be makeup and handbags.

I really think that they are trying to fill the needs of their plus size customers since many of them prefer to shop by phone or online. However, plus size folks want to look good, too, and these styles don't flatter anyone. They look like gunny sacks, shapeless and made of cheap fabric, oops, fabrication, and ugly designs. Susan Graver is their 'in house' designer so that gives you some idea of what they want to present.
It seems to me that they had a few better lines years ago.

Their clothes haven't gotten any better, and their prices have gone way up!! I haven't seen a thing in months that I was tempted to buy. I used to buy the majority of my clothes from them a few years ago, but rarely do now..plus hate to pay the S&H.

I think they should really stop trying to put the same style on everyone... everything comes in XS-3X. The style in XS will NOT look good in the plus sizes.
I would much rather see 2 or 3 lines of clothes made specifically for the challenges of a plus-size body.

BE is on at 3pm, EST, and I know LB will have the "Beauty at Every Age" kits on. Did anybody buy one when they debuted back in the summer? I'm wondering how the 30s kit is. They colors look really pretty and I'm tempted!

I agree. Just because they look good on their 1X models (who are perfectly proportioned) doesn't mean they'll look good on the average 1X, 2X or 3X.

Style? What style? These are the clothes that polygamists give their women to wear. All those damn jumpers and tee's that hide their magic garmies. I keep expecting that Jeff guy to jump out and say that QF is approved by the state of Utah for keeping all our women uniform looking.
You can go into your kitchen, don a hefty bag, a feather boa and a tiara made out of potatoes you forgot to do soemthing with an now those eyes are tendrils and look better than this dreck!

I actually think gauchos look good on lots of different body types, I know I am tall and curvy and I wore a pair last week, and I got so many compliments! I wasn't sure how I would look in them either, but goes to show, you have to be open to try new things!!

Jenna, no wonder you got the hot young studs chasing after you, if wearing outfits like this! ;)

I would wear the gauchos in the knit fabric, but with boots. I wore them in the 70's and liked them. I think it's pretty cute on some figure types, but it may be a little odd on someone who is really short and wide.
I was considering buying some, but haven't talked myself into it yet. Nordstrom.com has some cute ones. I have never bought clothes from QVC and am afraid to.
Quality down, prices up............has anyone noticed that?
