P.S....I just noticed the message at the top of the page regarding the avatars....

There was a message saying that the board had been hacked, and that somehow it was tied into our avatars.......

Avatars Are Disabled! For security purposes, I have disabled the avatars due to the hack that happened last week on the boards, I have found that the hacker from India uploaded some script codes in the avatar section and attempted to require visitors at TvTalk to download a virus. To make the long story short, he tried to hijack and redirect the boards to a hospital in Europe. I guess he thought you posters are sick! LOL You will still be able to change and see your avatar on your Profile Page, just not on the posts. I hope you understand! ---Webmaster Trevor Rieger

Not only were the avatars entertaining, to me they had a functional purpose - it made it easier to see who the poster was! Oh well. I'd rather have a safe site than an avatar, I guess.. :(

Will this be permanent? Some creep making our little avatars have to go away. Wonder if the vulnerability will get a patch so we can get our avatars back. Someone please ask Trevor if there is any hope. I've already PM'd him about something this month, so I won't ask him. Anyone?
