Selling a Fuji digital camera. Her eyes must be having trouble reading the cards. Its 5 easy payments of $30 and change. Except the camera is $303.00 and its 5 easy payments of $60.60.

I thought for a minute...thats a pretty damn good camera for $150. But then when ya look in the corner..nope.

Now Sheila is going to be selling Dell computers. Too bad they don't check out this board when presenting the computer.

Somebody needs to call up and say they have that Dell computer and they get loads of porn and quotes with the thing (for Seinfeld fans).

i still have to change the channel when she's on
the other morning she was doing a clothing show and the
detailing on the blouse was a ''godet' (go-day)
first time around she called it a 'god-et', then the voice in her ear/head corrected her and she pronounced it correctly
thereafter, she went right back to referring to it as a 'god-et'

short term memory bad, or just Sheila being Sheila?

also, have you noticed that she's lowered the timbre of her voice and has adapted LR's body movements as her own?
i know we've discussed this before, but it was evident that she was making a concious effort to BE LR
unfortunately, she doesn't have LR's intelligence and quickness of mind (wasn't i polite to put it that way? :-) )

Single White Female all the way...

I know no here seems to like her here, but for me, she's just pure entertainment. When have you seen someone make so many mistakes, and STILL keep their job? She just makes me laugh. Now I deliberately watch her just TO see if she screws up. So far, I haven't been disappointed.
Oh, and Bookie, don't know if you heard her last week describing a Bob Mackie sweater with decorative zipper pull, but she said "And we love to get in and out of our sweaters through our zippers" !!! lol!

Aww, Princess,
I'm made of some pretty tough stuff. If I could watch Bob B. for 2, count 'em 2 hours today, in his kitchen, I can endure Sheila! lol!

It was so funny, BTW, they been buried in snow in PA, and they showed Bob's audience and I swear there were 8 people there! SO funny!

I wonder how many drinking games center around Sheila and her mistakes?

is it just me, or has sheila j. gained so much self-confidence that she tells the guests to move aside, or walk over there, and the camera people to zoom in on this, or get a shot of that....?
pushy, or just sheila being sheila?

You know, goshdarnit Bookie,
I thought the exact same thing about Sheila lately! She really DOES seem to have a much more confident air about her, doesn't she? Seems like that kicked in about the time she made the announcement that they had renewed her contract. Maybe she's feeling invincible, even despite her verbal shortcomings.
Oh, and TNVol, folks would have to be doing some drinking in the very wee, small hours of the morning to be playing games revolving around Sheila! lol!

Sheila would still do well with many of the PAC-10 schools. Tonight the college kids could have been drinking to the Sheila starting at 10:00 pm PST.

And she looks just like a big carrot. Tonight, the orange hair and the orange skin (thanks the spray on tan). Oh my. . . oh my. Then seeing her try to hawk those toe rings.

They recently put Season 1 of "Rat Patrol" on DVD. Hopefully, Daktari isn't far behind. I would love some some sound man at QVC to start playing the "Daktari" theme song everytime Shelia's about to come on....that that close-up at the end....and starring Sheila as Clarance the Cross Eyed saleswoman.

Oh, NOW I get Kitty's Clarence reference! Couldn't imagine what in the world she was talking about! You must have seen Daktari on Nick at Nite or something, even I barely remember that show.

I wish "Nick" would run it sometime. One of the Superstations ran it back in the seventies and early eighties on Saturdays and Sundays.

Linda, TNVol made a Clarence reference on another thread, and I googled it, and saw a lovely pic of Clarence the lion. I've never seen the show. I hope it is played one day soon. In the meantime, Sheila J will do! LOLOLOL

Well, I'm old enough to remember Clarence from the first-runs of Daktari. He was adorable! I have had a couple of cross-eyed Siamese kitties that reminded me of him, too.

Kitty,
I just don't get the whole "cross-eyed" Sheila thing. I just don't see it. Maybe it's just too early when I've seen her, or maybe it's MY eyesight that's going. I really do think she's pretty, just verbally challenged. Ok, and maybe not the sharpest knife in the drawer, either.

hellokitty

Linda - I think it's hard to see because her eyes are so light. It's something I noticed one day and after noticing, I could never NOT notice. But who am I to keep making fun of that...(though the thought still makes me snicker) :)

And not the sharpest knife? Heck, she's the dullest!

Linda Lou
02-13-2006, 03:20 PM
Okay, Kitty,
Next time she's on at a reasonable hour, I will get up close and personal to my TV, to try and see what you see. If she IS on at a reasonable hour, I always seem to miss it, goshdarnit!

When I first noticed it, I thought she had a lazy eye for the longest time. But others on this board have said that Sheila has said she was crosseyed.

Also, did anyone catch Sheila last night selling the Dell computers and Sheila was saying that for years she worked in SOFTWARE??! I would like to know...doing what? Selling it at Best Buy or something? Sheila's certainly not writing software or anything like that.

Linda Lou

Maybe she worked in a store that sold computers, and she just dusted off the tops of them.

Who knows with Sheila, she seems to make things up as she goes along...
