Avon seems to have a lot of "upscale" age-reversing things (creams, lotions, cleansers, etc.) & I was curious if they might be comparable to Dr. Denese's line. AVON certainly is better priced.
Wondering if this is a "get what you pay for" thing or if it might just be a deal! Does anyone know how the two companies compare?

I've never tried Dr. D's products, but I've used Avon Anew for years and years. I love it! Avon was really a pioneer w/the alpha hyrdoxy long before many of the other lines got on the band wagon.

Tooncey -
I started selling Avon about a year and a half ago as fun 'on the side' job. Avon has really changed. I am totally hooked on the Anew line and have many, many customers who tried it, loved the results, and will not use anything but. Avon has a new line of Anew out: Anew Alternatives - A PM creme, A New AM creme and in the next camp an eye cream for both upper lids and under eye bags.
My customers are all pleased and have told me the results have been nothing but fantastic. I am 44 and my face is very young looking due to the commitment I have made with these products - fine lines are gone, my skin tone has evened out ...
I say give it a try - and like you said, it is much much cheaper in price. I can guarentee you will start to see a difference within the first two weeks of using these 2 Alternative products and then introducing the eye product when it comes out.

Vivvie, I'm so glad this thread came up and that you're an 'Avon Lady'. (Thanks tooncey!)
My sister was just asking me yesterday what to use for dark circles and puffiness under her eyes. I wasn't sure what to tell her. But then later in the day, I was flipping through the old Lucky mag, and there was an ad for the upper lid/lower lid eye cream. I proceeded to rip it out and give it to her. From your post, it sounds like it's not availabe yet. Do you know when it will be? Thanks!
tooncey2: Thanks for starting this thread. I'm looking for a new eye cream and facial moisturizer.
Vivvie: Recommendations (eye cream and moisturizer)? I'm 45, not too many wrinkles. Would you recommend the Anew line?

Thanks Vivvie & MissItaly for your input. I think I may just have to try the Anew line! I love how people on this bb are so helpful.

i sold Avon 2 years ago, but had to quit because i had no profits--even with my discount i wasn't getting anywhere ; i bought too much!
Avon really is at the forefront in skin care
their cellulite cream was/is awesome when i was using it my pants were looser in the thigh after about a month, with no dieting or exercise
i loved that stuff!!

I tried Anew when it first came out and didn't care for it, but I was very young at the time and didn't really need everything it was promising then. Whenever you look at the mags like Lucky or In Style, you will many times find them pointing to the Anew line as having good products. That being said, I did bite and order the Dr. D. TSV. I was curious and the price was good for what you received. My skin has never looked better and I am makeup free if I choose. I have not had that in a long time. Could you get the same results with Anew...absolutely...I say go for it!

thanks everyone! the anew eye cream line should be introduced in camp 6 ... end of feb.
for those of you younger than us '40 somethings'' this anew line is not for you. that is why you may not have had a good experience with it.
i am so happy for the post responses - thanks all.

I use the Anew Ultimate Eye cream and the All In One with SPF 15 lotion. I like them a lot. I also recently started on the Anew Clinical stuff in the dropper-bottle for lines. I put on the nose-to-mouth line area. I can't tell yet if it's working, but it doesn't give me a rash, and that's a big plus. I have never tried Dr. Denese, though, so have no comments on comparisons.
