...when you were young enough to have it make a difference.

Don't apologize when you're airing a legitimate complaint.
Don't smile or laugh when someone's being sexually inappropriate toward you.
Don't think he'll change after you have a baby.
Don't think he'll change if you get those implants.
Don't jump to conclusions.
Don't be to vain to wear those reading glasses.
Don't hold a grudge. The poison will kill you, not your "wrongdoer".
Don't take yourself too seriously.

Finally, do NOT visit the Liberace Museum in Las SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM. You'll be terribly disappointed. It's in a strip mall. No kidding.

Wise words, Miss Aunt Cathy.

Sometimes, age really does matter. So does size.

Sometimes, the grass really is greener on the other side.

Don't laugh when others are laughing at you, especially if it isn't funny. Show 'em or tell 'em how you really feel. You'll get more respect

Don't be afraid to eat in public places if you have a weight problem. People know you're probably not eating celery sticks at home.

Cling to what you believe is right for you, even if no one agrees.

Don't put off things you want to do for "someday". Time flies by faster than you can ever imagine when you're young.

This too shall pass. Sometimes, when you're young, you think the bad times will never end.

Thanks Hellfire, and I really mean it too. Sometimes I think ppl are too willing to repress what they know to be true for themselves, because it might not be considered "PC" or that their particular belief doesn't go with the status quo. To thine own self be true, right?

I knew I'd be blown away by the collective wisdom on this board!

When he says he loves you it doesn't always mean he's in love with you.

Don't put off taking care of yourself; your body is your temple.

No one cares if you think you look too "heavy" in those jeans; curves are in!

Time does heal wounds.

It's okay to feel like you can't conquer the world every single day of your life.

Okay, now that's my favorite! I say that all the time!

Why can't I ever think of this stuff when a thread comes up? LOL!
It's like I draw a blank all of the sudden.

Linda, Oh my gosh, I love that line too!
To thine ownself be true:)

Oh geeze, I feel all sappy now.

MissItaly, time does heal all wounds, but I've always noticed a scar:(

Don't ask "When's the baby due?" unless you really really know for sure one is being expected.

LOL, Mockers! Whole-heartedly agree, as previously discussed on another thread about assumptions.

Linda Lou, this one should be repeated 10 times:

Don't put off things you want to do for "someday". Time flies by faster than you can ever imagine when you're young.

Take that trip. Wear the 'good' jewelry and the fancy lingerie you're 'saving.' Eat off the good silver and real china.
No one is promised tomorrow. Most of the folks on the obituary page didn't expect to be there so soon.

Oh, so true pebbles! I think of this more and more now that I'm over 40! Can't even believe I got here so fast. And yes, the people who passed away unexpectedly, how could they ever have known that there would be no tomorrow?

My .02

- It's better to be alone, than to wish you were.

- That which does not kill you, makes you stronger.

- Hate corrodes the vessel that contains it.

- If you are to know a man, observe how he treats a cat.

More later if I remember any. :)

Toon, what if you're not a cat lover? I'm guessing a cat lover made that one up?

I guess I would be lucky because mine loves cats and I don't have the heart to tell him I never want one:(

Great Tooncey 2!

Advice for teenage girls: Males trade "'loving behavior" to get sex: Women trade sex in hopes of receiving love. Also, blue balls never killed anybody.

Hellfire, I think it's more a "how people treat animals in general", than specifically a cat. You can not like cats (or insert whatever animal you aren't nuts about here), but how you treat them in spite of that fact is the key. It speaks volumes of your character.

my best friend val in Bermuda says "God never rests'
goes along is getting back what you do x3

i always want to SEE people get theirs, but she says don't worry, just know that they WILL get paid back eventually
