Tova is phasing out of QVC

Remember when I commented that Tova was absent on the Day of Beauty?
Also, I feel her appearances are not as frequent as they used to be. Well, I may have been right. Do a Google Groups search under Tova Borgnine. It appears that Tova's products are now owned by QVC and she's obligated to hawk them, but only as a figurehead. There were assertions of her having BAD money troubles due to her lavish lifestyle. Check it out.

I also heard that she was phasing out everything but her fragrances. I hope they stay, I do like her fragrances. They do last longer then the Amazing Grace line and are almost as soft. I have gotten more compliments on her Signature fragrance then Amazing Grace.

THE many friends of lovely Tova Borgnine, Ernie's wife, are sad to hear that
her thriving beauty business has apparently folded. They don't know what
happened, but are sure Tova will bounce back with a new venture any day soon.

How could it be thriving and fold? Too bad, I love her perfume and

I'VE been hearing more gossip about the fate of Tova Borgnine's booming beauty
business. It's said that Ernie Borgnine's wife was making more than $20 million
a year in sales at QVC but somehow ended up owing the cable shop a bundle. So
QVC has bought the Tova name and products, and is now employing her on salary,
thus getting to keep for themselves the lion's share of the fortune her line
generates. So how did she lose control of the company? Tova's a brilliant
woman, but she's very high maintenance. She always traveled with an entourage
(I hear there was an astrologer on staff), maintained a huge suite at the
Waldorf Towers and spent money faster than even she was making it. We all hope
this new arrangement will work out OK for her.

The ribs are doing well, Luv - had my first DECENT play Tuesday evening; a full 90 minutes, and no problems!!! I'll be giving full details on the blog either today or tomorrow.

Might be wise to stockpile Tova's scent(s); you never know when something you love will be gone for good.........

It very well could be Ernie, LL, but I wasn't really thinking about him; I was thinking about someone who's a fan of Tova (both the lady, and her fragrance), and used to frequent this board.........

An astrologer on staff? Sylvia Brown, perhaps? How does that support the fact that she's intelligent, LOL? I wonder if the astrologer told her to watch her expenditures. She has at least one very fancy salon in Beverly Hills. Maybe that has folded too. Something tells me that her husband has a very low tolerance for big money losses.

Check the Dollar Stores for her products which will probably be arriving there soon.

Saw her on Patti's Saturday night beauty show ... she looked Fantastic! I guess her Tova signature fragrance is up for some big award (can't remember what they were called) ... I think it's on April 4th.

Well, here's where I have to agree. Tova has probably had her share of nips and tucks. But really, besides her "ethereal" persona, I think she is very attractive for a woman of her age. And she certainly doesn't look as "plastic" as J. Rivers.

I will note, that the woman must smell like a perfume factory because just in her little 4 minutes segment, she sprayed herself (and I counted) 6 times, and each spray session amounted to at least 3 spritzes ...

Maybe she uses a "dummy" for on-air ... ???

Ahahaha. I watched an interview with Ernie Borgnine a few years ago and he said that his house smelled like a perfume factory. She has a line of men's scents too and he didn't want to wear them. I'll bet she wasn't too happy with him after that.
