Horrified at the HSN BB site

I was at work today and the bosses were all in a meeting so I decided to go the QVC bb then I thought I would be daring and go to the HSN bb. OMG! It is horrible! not just the things they were saying they would like to do to some of the female hosts on QVC but the actual language they were using! I have never thought that much of HSN but I am so glad that people on this site ask others not to talk like that! I am far from being a prude but I don't need or like those images in my head of what they were talking about - it was porn!

Yes, when I first start to post on these boards I thought I'd visit since I watch HSN on occasion. I left in a hurry. I don't know any of the ladies here that would touch a McDonald's. These ladies are nurses, lawyers, schoolteachers, salesladies, young mothers and grandmothers and are very fashion conscious and come here to discuss clothing, jewelry, make up, etc. These ladies are nice and for the most part aren't even going to read this thread. And Pebbles, you're right, the best thing would be to ignore him and let him slither back under his rock, but c'mon, he's such a throwback! You don't see this mentality often in men these days, at least where I live. Of course, I don't hang around trailer parks.

He regresses to sexual insults, makes derogatory fat remarks and tells us to eat a Big Mac. (I'm sure we all know what he's having for lunch!)

I agree about the trailer park reference. It's par for the course for a lot of you, many of whom are sitting in such trailers right now. It's okay to put down poor people, or be "horrified" by the thoughts of normal, red-blooded American men - but get called on it, and you run right to the top of your soapbox.
