I took a look at this and I think it's cute. I bought one of these types of sets from Jeanne last summer (a TSV) and the quality was excellent. I like the blue, but the pictures make it look either turquoise or light blue. I prefer the former, but I'll see how it looks on the model.

What do you all think?

Even if I liked it a lot, I wouldn't get it because of the colors. It amazes me that QVC offers so many clothes that are JUST pastels. They don't seem to get that some people look SICK in pastels. Oh well, another thing that I DON'T need to spend my money on. YAY!

I think it would be cute on some, but I would look ridiculous in it. I like colors that aren't pastel, too, and I don't like outfits where the top and bottom match.

Makeup, esp. lipstick and blush, usually helps if a person looks sick in pastels.

Jazz,
Cute babies! Is that a mother and her kitten?

Those are my grandchildren! The little guy is Hank and the big one is Louie. Hank is almost grown now, though. I'll have to get a pic of him re-sized. He looks like one of those wild desert cats with the huge ears.

My ankles are too skinny to wear cropped pants, but I think it would look cute on some people. The colors look very springy and Eastery. Pastels look good on certain people. My sister looks best in pastels whereas bright shades overwhelm her coloring.

Has anyone ordered this set yet? I like it and want to order it but haven't yet. I like the blue color best, but don't like the yellow trim with the blue. I like the pink trim on the green color, but like the overall green color less than the blue color! So I haven't ordered it. It certainly is a good price for two pieces. I heard Jeanne Bice say a few minutes ago that when she first sold only blouses on QVC they were $44.00 and now there's a whole set for $44.00. If it had any more glitz I wouldn't like it, but there's just enough glitz trim to be cute but not too much, IMO. It's cute to wear out to dinner in the spring and summer. Still deciding....

i look best in pastel pink, and wear it all year
QF does offer a lot of back, navy, red, etc.

i've only sprung for QF once, last spring
it was a black terry, unembellished set

i sent it back, because it had a strange fit

Hershey - Like you, I'm still deciding.... I do like the pink one, though. It's truly something that looks like spring and summer w/the color selection (thankfully it's not pastel!). I don't think I'd do the upsell t-shirt, but a tank top from Target would work.

Missitaly, I usually think that for the price of the upsell, it pays instead to buy a TSV in another color. The upsell isn't usually that much less than the TSV itself and you get much less for your money.

Let us know what you decide to get!

Probably wouldn' buy the TSV unless it came with the t-shirt. I do have the hot pick, the crops with 2 matching t-shirts in daisies and ladybugs and I really like it

Right. But I don't wear makeup every day, and I don't intend to start. First, since I stopped wearing makeup everyday my budget is manageable, and I have time to eat breakfast in the morning (much more important to me). Second, I don't hang around with people who care. I need much more than lipstick and blush to counter the pastel.

For a special occasion a pastel garmet with makeup would be fine. But Quackers (and Sport Savvy and Denim and Co, etc) are everyday clothes.

Live your life however you like, Mockers. I wasn't TELLING you to wear makeup for goodness' sakes. Lipstick and blush can be inexpensive and take seconds to put on; those are the two articles of makeup I mentioned that I think help when pastels tend to wash a person out. But if you can't afford those or don't want to take the time to use them, far be it from me to try to change any of your life. Perhaps others may find the suggestion helpful; you aren't the only one reading this BB.

I just received and tried on my TSV. I really love it. I cannot believe the price was only around $44.00 & SH & tax. It fits perfectly and is very well made like most of her clothes. It's great to start wearing now in spring and will take me through the summer. I will get so much use out of this outfit. I'm glad I got the upsell tee, although the outfit certainly stands alone and there are lots of solid tees you can find to wear underneath also, or just button the jacket.
But I'm so pleased with this. It's one of my best purchases recently.

Has anyone else received theirs yet? Missitaly, did you buy it after all?

I ordered mine from the Insider magazine right away because I thought it was so cute and I was afraid that it would sell out if I waited. I got the green trimmed in pink and I love it. I wore it today in fact and I, too, love the fit. I find that generally the QF items (particularly the warmer weather ones) are great!

whosurmama, I also got the green w/ the pink trim. I'm glad you liked yours also.
