I have to admit that I don't have a favorite. Well, maybe I do, but I can never remember their names because I don't watch too often. Oh, I remember Darlene, but I don't think she's a host anymore, just a representative of all the sewing stuff. I like her because she really does make all the stuff she shows that the machines can do.

I watch very little of HSN and I've always been a Judy fan, so I guess I'll go with our lovely Judy Crowell.

They all seem pretty good to me. I don't care for Paul Deasy though. I spoke to him on the air once and he seemed bored to death. At least he could have acted interested, don't you think.

I ordered a sheet set this winter and I got the recording saying I could stay on the line for a chance to speak to the show host. It was Bill Green. I hung up!! I am sure he's a nice guy, but wouldn't want to talk to him. He does have a cat so he can't be all bad!
I don't care for Paul Deasy either. Seems kind of arrogant to me, but his wife is okay. I like Shannon (?), I think it is. Very nice, soft voice. Sounds like she could have been a DJ before HSN.
I even like Krista Pitts. She can get a little crazy, but she seems like a lot of fun.
And of course, who doesn't like Miss Colleen?

I don't watch HSN too much ... I do my drive-by, and typically move along. However, if Paul Deasy is showing jewelry, I'll watch ... and if Colleen is hosting with Suzanne Sommers ... I'll watch.

I know what you mean, bee, about Suzanne and Colleen. There is something kind of train-wrecky about that combo that appeals to me. I'm continually amazed by the tackiness of Suzanne's items and the price they charge for them. And then there's the fact that Colleen is sort of poured into one of the outfits, though it's at least a size too small.
I grazed into HSN last night and felt kind of bad for Bobbi Ray. She is just w-a-a-y too thin and looks unhealthy.
I do like Judy. Always have.

I have to admit that I bought a Suzanne Somers item. It was a faux fur "weekender" bag. Very cute, I think. I'm going to add it to the stuff I'm taking in the car to California in May (to my sister's wedding!). I'll probably put stuff in it that I can use in the motel so I don't have to lug in all the bigger stuff. Or hey, maybe just all the dog's stuff!

I LOVE Judy, but unless she is hosting a jewelry show, HSN doesn't sell (IMO) anything worth stopping for! And honestly, I wouldn't buy their jewelry either ... but it's fun to watch.

I like Judy Crowell. She always seems like a nice down-to earth lady, and isn't pushy. I do think she seems a little more high strung on HSN than she did on QVC. I like Colleen the best of the other hosts. Her hair and wardrobe usually look good and appropriate for her age (with the exception of the SS shows)
Poor Bobbie Ray looks like she has had a Botox overdose. She has a perpetually surprised expression, and is too thin and too tan.

I think she (BRC) may be the thinnest person on tv! And dang girl, stay out of the sun for Pete's sake!
(who's pete?).

Bee, I think Pete was Barbra Streisand's boyfriend in a movie, and that's where that saying came from.
(just kidding, of course)

Yes, it may have been the deep tan that made her look sort of shriveled and just painfully thin. She was also wearing a halter-style dress that really accentuated her arms and their virtually non-existent state. And I think she may be the thinnest person on TV since Calista Flockhart.

I think Bobbie is thinner than Calista was. At least Calista had youth on her side and didn't look like a dried up old apple! When Bobbie Ray has jeans on, her legs look skinnier than most people's arms.

LOL!
I'm teasing you. I would have hung up too! It always amazes how some people can come across so pleasant and unstressed. When I get put on the spot with these type of things. I end up sounding like I'm going to cry, pass out and vomit at the same time. Did I mention my voice shakes?

Hi everyone :)
Colleen is my favorite host on HSN. She has a very pleasant voice and she doesn't really do anything to annoy me. She started designing a few things - clothing and jewelry, I believe, and I don't like any of those items. She just seems like someone with a good personality.
I also like Callie. Her voice can get a little irritating, but she has a good demeanor. Last night she was on w/that Chef Jamie, and they were compimenting each other...maybe just a tad too much, but still, it was nice.

I like Callie, also. She seems like a nice lady, and her hair, makeup and wardrobe are stylish and age-appropriate.

hellokitty, I completely agree with everything you said about Colleen.
I like her the best on HSN, although I don't watch it much. I have never seen her be anything but very pleasant, to the audience, vendors, callers, other hosts, whomever she is dealing with. She is articulate and down to earth. I guess I'd have to say she's my fav on HSN, although I don't really have strong feelings about any of those hosts.
I get Callie mixed up with that other blond who married not too long ago and uses her maiden and married name now - oh, it's Connie Craig Carroll - the one with the southern accent. To me those two are interchangeable.

Callie has nice fingers - don't want that to sound weird, but they are long and thin, and she has nice nail beds, so she has good hands to show off jewelry and host where a camera will be on your hands a lot.
I've liked Judy when she was on QVC, but now on HSN...I don't know. I don't enjoy her as much. Same with Suzanne Runyan. Not sure if it's just bc I associate "cheese" w/HSN, but then again, I don't think the same way of Colleen...

LOL, Linda, Colleen is another host I dislike. She can sell garbage and tell you it's wonderful with a straight face. I mentioned once before that I bought a glass plate that she said would make her "cry" from joy if someone gave it to her. It looked like something from the dollar store. I guess I have to give her credit for being able to sell anything. She sure convinced me.

I like Callie as well, H. Kitty. Maybe a little more than you do, b/c I don't find her voice irritating at all, same with Colleen. I think Callie comes across as genuinely nice and low key.

Oh pebbles, that's what makes her a good host!! She can sell anything! It's like she puts the viewers under a trance!! Something about her! I don't even buy anything from HSN, I just like to flip by, but when she is on...oh boy, she certainly can trick me into buying crap!!

Yeah, her voice is a little deep? or is it monotonous? Can't really pinpoint, but there is something there. But I do like her! :)

Suzanne started at qvc in 94 around the same time thtt both lisas rick and david v started I believe she left qvc in 2000
To spend more time with her son who was 3 at the time and came to hsn in 02 I believe first jus to host the crafty shows
Thn she began hosting all sorts of shows about a year or so later

We all know my choice. The Texas born / Oklahoma raised babe! :)))))))))
After that though, I'd have to go with: 1) Alicia Perez 2) Lynn Murphy 3) Shivan Sarna 4) Helen Keaney 5) Diana Perkovic - After that, there's sort of a revolving door of hotties for me.
