I can't find the site! I tried entering it in on e-bay as freakingcat_gems, searched for just "freakingcat", tried to cut and paste what you put in the post... nothing! What's the actual URL of the site? I wanna seeeeee! LOL

OK, try clicking on this # after his name on Ebay. freakingcat_gems ( 1893)
Here is one of his item #'s: 8920855165

I hope one of those works for you.

If you do a search, there is one search that lets you write in the seller's name. Then click on the 1893 after his name. Then click on his list of items.

Holy Freakingcats, Batman! Unbelievable! How can he (they?) afford to sell those Gems at the prices he (they?) sells them for???? I mean, SANTA MARIA AQUAMARINE FOR (as it stands now) $8.49??? For a 2.34 CARAT????? That's nuts! "Where have you been all my life", She said.
I've studied Gemstones like a starving person and have never even HEARD of a lot of the Gems here! Very Sweet, Pebbles, thanks! Even a person in my dismal financial situation could easily afford to buy Top Gem quality stones! Am I drooling all over the place??? You betcha!

Isn't it fantastic? Do you know how to bid? Wait until the last few minutes and try to get a bid in before someone else. Lots of people are watching these stones, but you can sneak in. I just love it. And make sure you check their feedback. Most of them are shipping from Asia so the shipping fees may be high. But it's still well worth it.

Have you bought from the Asian dealers Pebbles? I've seen so many of them on Ebay ... but worry about customs, delays, etc.

That's how I got my paraiba. If you see that they have excellent feedback, have been selling on Ebay for awhile, and their shipping and ins. is reasonable, I would go for it. Last night I saw a Santa Maria 3.4 carat aquamarine sell for $8.50 plus shipping. At those prices, I figure I don't have too much to lose, LOL. Some of them will send certifications and offer money back guarantees. True, the shipping can be slow.

I think that there are jewelers who get their stones this way. If you check the feedback, you will see many stones going to the same buyer. I know that there's one buyer who snatches up padparasha sapphires. LOL, who wouldn't?

Hey there! I see you are thinking of buying a Kunzite! Interesting stone... You probably know this, but just in case you don't, remember that it is considered an "evening" stone - meaning you should only wear it at night because the sunlight will cause the color to fade.

Thanks for the heads up on the site, Pebbles! As soon as I'm able, I'm going to be a bidding fool! I'm saving up for a car or possibly a minivan so jewelry and gems are in the back seat right now :( but wow what incredible prices on some amazing gems! I can't understand how they can do it!

I think that by buying these stones directly from Asia you are cutting out several middlemen. There is no expensive store or salesmen to pay and they are still making a profit. The mark-up on gems is huge.

mystylady

That makes sense. What is it, like 4 times markup?
