Some of you guys are hysterical..... the show host "Quotes".... I thought I was gonna pee myself!!!

To answer the question about Mandy.....yes, she is 7-8 months pregnant now, but doesn't want to draw attention to it.

I'd like to know if Sharon is a snob when not on. I genuinely can't imagine her wearing anything in 10k gold. She goes on and on about the 10k gold, but most people who wear a Rolex, wouldn't be caught dead in anything less than 14k gold ...

Also, would love to know what is up with Misty?!? Do they not say anything to her about her appearance? She looks horrible ... hair too big, skin to orange, clothes too tight ...

Is Tamara that wacky all the time?!? lol ... love her, but man ... she needs to calm down at times!

Sharon is SOOOOO NOT a snob! I'm amazed that you guys don't like her. She's one of the sweetest people in the world. And she DOES shop all the time at work. She knows everyone by name, and she is the REAL DEAL. She is also one of the top money makers for Jewelry. Why you guys don't like her saddens me.(?) We all love her!!! :(

Misty has been with the network almost from the beginning. She also makes a lot of money for the company. (She mostly does turntables, and focuses/sells cheaper stuff--but they sell). Buy yeah. "First come, first serve, right now, we can say this costs...." does get very old! (Hee Hee!)

Tamara is crazy in real life, yes. But she is a great person.

Also, Mandy has not drawn attention to her preganancy for one simple reason--- she does not want to look big on TV. So the pregnancy is hidden.

Angie is a nice person, but is the most difficult to work with. She has a diva attitude during her shows, but calms down after they are over. She takes things out on everybody and puts us in lousy moods. And her earnings for the network don't justify that kind of behavior. I wanted to jump her in the bathroom once and kick her!! AAAGGGHHH! But she is ocd, and admits it.

I LOVE IT! Angie ... a diva?!? Very interesting ... I don't see that! She seems so sweet! I love her and Jerry together!

It's not that I don't like Sharon ... the woman just goes overboard with everything, and I'll say it again ... I really don't think she would be caught dead in 10k gold. I'm sure she buys it for others ... but for herself ... not on her life! I also think, she is the worst in lieing about retail prices. It's one thing to say a citrine and diamond accent ring in 10k gold would be $299 anywhere else ... but $899 ... I BEG her to tell us where. Sure, maybe a citrine ring in 14 or 18 k gold at Cartier or Tiffanys may sell for upwards of $800 ... but we aren't stupid ... 10k gold is something low end dealers carry (Wal-mart, etc).

Gold isn't gold ... 10k gold is crap and most of us know it. They never put a quality tanzanite or spessartite in 10k gold ... ALWAYS 14k or higher.

Wow, thanks for the "behind the scenes info" Employee! I also wanted to say that I think JTV is awesome for all the work you do when others are in trouble. I remember how you came to the aid of the Tsunami and Katrina victims by dedicating all day to raising funds to send over there. As for the recent tornados in Tennessee.... It wasn't even public knowledge that it had happened yet when I saw the appeal that was made over the air for relief efforts to help! I quick turned to the news channels and there was nothing! Not until the next day did they "break the story". I hope you all at JTV and your loved ones are safe and sound! You were mighty close to the action, being in Knoxville! How scary!!!

I too am surprised about Angie! She's easy to take because she doesn't repeat herself constantly the way Angela does, who's on right now with your newest "gem" Sheree (Who can hardly get a word in edgewise, I might add). "While They Last" "First Come First Served" "Congradulations Ladies and Gentlemen" AAARRRRGGGHHHH! She makes me hit the "mute" button HARD (pretending it's her? Ugh sorry, but true) because I can hardly stand it! SAME with Misty, who makes me even crazier than Angela does! Why oh why doesn't someone over there tell them!!! Do they not know how they sound?
So Angie's a pain off air... who would've thought! OCD! I never would have guessed that one either. Not a fun thing to have I would imagine, for her OR for you's!

Am I crazy or did I sense a real animosity between Nikki and Casey? During a "show turnover" recently, when the hosts coming on; Casey and Tommy, interacted with the host going off; Nikki, Casey just totally "iced Nikki out" and was obviously mean to her! This was out of character for Casey, from what I've seen before, so it was really surprising, especially because Nikki seems like such a sweetie. Do they get along in "real life"? And it's obvious that Misty and Scott clash! Remember when Misty commented on Scott's wardrobe (AGAIN) and he blew up at her? By that I mean he got really pissed! He seemed peeved for the whole show after that! I'd be willing to bet that there's no love lost between the two of them!
Am I like the nosiest person you've ever seen? I don't mean anything, I'm just curious and a huge JTV fan, is all! After all, how often does one have the opportunity to "dish" with someone who "really knows" the scoop???

I knew a kid in grade school who got poked in the eye (accidentally) by another kid with a sharpened pencil... OW OW OW OW and he lost his eye because of it. Afterwards his eye looked the same way Tommy's does now. It doesn't matter, one way or the other...he's a wonderful show host and I've learned SO much from him! I just think that that would be a terrible, awful thing to go through and I empathize.

Finally... what happened to Patera? Did she make you all as crazy as she made me? A piece of work and so very annoying! Sorry but oh my, she drove me up a wall! BIG TIME!

Sorry, guys.... I've been busy. And please understand, I WORK there. So, talking about work is something I usually stay away from on my time off. Also, I hear now that some of the folks at work know about this site. So, I'm careful of what I'm gonna say.

Like I said, Angie is nice in person (away from our work), but on set, she's a nazi.

Angela FLIES through her stuff. And yes, she does repeat herself. Also, listen for her "per se" statements. We crack up at that. She never uses it right!

Sheree was the boss of the show hosts. She stepped down and took a job hosting. She knows the job well. She hired a number of the hosts, so she knows what she's doing. She's been there quite awhile.

I missed it. We're rarley paying attention when they're talking to each other. We're concentrating on the show, and what items are going to be shown. Nikki can be a little diva sometimes but for the most part she's pretty cool.

Wow thanks! I knew you'd come back!!! So some folks at JTV know about us! That's kinda neat... I hope everyone who's been mentioned has a sense of humor! I've never noticed Angela's "Per Se" thing, maybe because the TV's on "mute"! She really is the worst, along with Misty.
I remember Sheree saying that she was a supervisor on her first time hosting but she didn't say what she did exactly. Makes perfect sense! She's a great host and a pleasure to watch.
I guess the hosts WOULD be the Kings and Queens of the Castle! Without them you'd just be a bunch of people standing around. It's neat to hear the "inside scoop" on everyone. I understand your wanting to be careful about what you write. EmployeeofJTV IS pretty generic tho, I doubt anyone would know who you are. Still, it's better to be safe than sorry, right?
Oh next time you see Mandy check out her eyes! She not only wears white eyeliner, she also has these white "half moons" under her eyes, like she's trying to cover up her excess baggage but the stark white only draws your attention to it more! Poor thing. If it were me I'd want someone to mention something like that so I could fix it, but she's probably just tired, huh? She must be due any time now. Is she going to come back after her maternity leave?

First....I apologize for saying you were full of "schit".
That was "in my humble opinion" my only "nasty" comment.

We have differences of opinions......thats all.

Some comments that were made here about some show-hosts could be veiwed as "nasty" as well.
Its all a matter of perspective.

If you take a look at most of my posts......they have been in defense of things said, that I felt were "nasty" about some show hosts.
I know a few personally as friends.......and I know first hand how hard it is for them to read and know about harsh things said about them. Things that are either blown- up or just flat out wrong.
Regardless of the job you do.....big or small......everyone wants to be liked and excepted.

Show-hosts are people too.

I except and respect that some of you may have a differing opinion.

Why is the fact that my opinion differs from some of you....so hard for you to except and respect?

I understand that you're only sticking up for your friends and I commend you for your loyalty. You've got to admit that the way you've responded to several of the posts here have made you sound mean and/or snotty. If you explained right from the start that you were hurt by some of our comments and why you felt that way, wouldn't it have been better? You said other hurtful things to just about everyone who tried reasoning with you. From this one thread alone...

Now was that called for? We don't like someone saying things like that to us the same way you don't like us saying things about your friends! You know it's really all the same thing... but as you can tell, we're not unwilling to forgive and forget. We just want the same respect that you want for your friends! I know I've gone overboard at times, mostly because it's frustrating for instance to hear Misty and Angela say the same things over and over when I KNOW that they're smart and can be more original. But I've never once thought one bad thing about them as people! Please realize that if a show host has an annoying habit and we mention it on the board, it doesn't mean that we don't like that person, we just don't like the annoying habit. I've written to most of the show hosts and most have written back. They're all so nice and I like every one of them! There are just things, a few specific things, that I personally as a viewer wish that they wouldn't do, like being repetitive.
You see, it's not that your opinion differs that was ever the issue. It's the way you've said it. I'm being honest, OK? I respect you for your loyalty to your friends, I really do. I think that that's so important. If you could just be nicer to US and not slam us, we of course can see your side. It's just hard when someone is saying rude things to you, to catch their message, you know? Am I coming across? I'm being 100% sincere with you Kilo.
What exactly got you so mad? Are there specific statements? If you don't want to "re-hash" them out in public you can PM me... I think it might be better actually if you do, since I would imagine you don't want to bring it all up in people's minds again. Is that fair?

I at one time had a job similar to what you all do and there would be negative comments occassionally but atleast I knew that the viewer was paying attention. Good points. Sometimes there is criticism but at least that means people are watching. One thing I can say about all the hosts at JTV, they all seem to be class people. We might have our favorites and some might be better than others but they seem honest and it seems like a great company to work for.

Good points. Sometimes there is criticism but at least that means people are watching. One thing I can say about all the hosts at JTV, they all seem to be class people. We might have our favorites and some might be better than others but they seem honest and it seems like a great company to work for.

Criticism is one thing....but personal attacks and falsehoods have no place.(in the past) Also.....criticism isnt necessary for us to know you are watching. We know you are watching due to our constant call volume and the amount of $ made per hour!LOL
But dont think for one milisecond that we dont appreciate your buisness or that we take you for granted as a shopper! You are the reason we are here!
I can say first hand that you are correct when you say that JTV hosts are "class people"! I have worked with ALL of them personally up until the SAH purchase. Each one has their professional quirks and differences....but all are outstanding people! (especially Fake & Bake)LOL

We don't come here hoping that the hosts will find us ... it just happened. Most come here to chit chat about jewelry/gems and what we like/dislike. If a host's feelings get hurt along the way, sorry ... certainly nobodies intent ... but we are entitled to our opinions.

I'm sure they are all great people, but since most will never meet them face to face we can only draw from what we see on tv. Everybody can't like everybody!

I agree with you 100% on that.(beekeeper)

But also keep in mind that a "disagreement" or a differing point of view from yours.... is just that.....a different point of veiw.....it doesnt mean either of us is right or wrong....it just means we have different points of views.
Just because I may defend my view or say something that disagrees with another view on a thread does not mean I am being harsh or mean or trying to "flame" anyone......it is just me making a point.(not directed at anyone in particular.....just a blanket statement)

I guess what I am saying is that I am not a mean and argumentative person.....and I dont want to be taken that way.....just because I agree or disagree with any given post.
I feel like because I went to bat for a few friends of mine a while back.....everything I post is taken in a sour demeanor.

I also agree with you Kilo ... opinions are opinions. But from our perspective (those of us that don't work for JTV, or know people who work for JTV), you in particular, come here and post in a "this is the way it is, final answer" kind of way. It's easy to take that defensively.

I'd go up to bat for my friends too, so I certainly understand that view point.

Some people are just so squeaky clean and nice, would never say a bad thing about anybody. I think it's fair to say that "most" are not that way. I can only speak for myself ... I don't think I've said anything horrible, or completely un-true about any of the hosts, since I am coming from my perspective. I may not like someones hair, or they way they present an item, or the way they seem to go bonkers on the air (lol) but I'm sure they are all great people. There are people I don't care for at QVC, there are people I don't care for at HSN, and there are people I don't care for at JTV. Nothing personal ... just a simple matter of fact. Again ... everybody can't like everybody.

I come here and post my opinions. There are times I get attacked for them, and there are many that probably don't like me. That's something I should expect posting here, just as people in the media or on tv, should expect criticism. It's nothing personal, and as you've pointed out ... many times these negative opinions are not the majority. THAT is what these hosts should be looking at ... one person on a chat board shouldn't be given that much credit.
