Gifford ended 20 years with Carnival, taking her deceased dad's words to heart: "If you can do something with your eyes closed, it's time to find something new." Look for her interviewing celebs on the syndicated show "The Insider." Gifford, 52, also is looking at colleges with son Cody, 16. Among them: dad Frank Gifford's California alma mater, USC. "He's a fine athlete and a much better student than his father," Gifford says, "and a much better musician than I'll ever be."

Oh is that why I never got any answers when I asked how old Cassidy is? It's a shame if that mother-daughter relationship is strained. Poor Cassidy! And some talk as if KLG is the pillar of motherhood. Tsk tsk.

I haven't heard anything about Cassidy. Most quotes from KL do discuss Cody with no mention of her at all.

I thought I had replied to this question, but I guess it didn't post, or I am just too senile to remember where and when I reply!

I think Cassidy is twelve years old and will turn thirteen in August. It seems to me that she was born a few days before Kathie Lee turned forty.

I saw a picture of her somewhere since Christmas. I think she is a darling girl, looks exactly like Cody.

I have always thought that Kathie Lee appears to be a great Mom. All moms are proud of their children and tend to brag about them. In fact, that is the reason I started watching her in the first place. I must admit that I always brag about mine when given the opportunity. That's what Mom's do best.
