We all talk on here about this great jewelry and gemstones we have, but wouldn't it be cool if we could see what each other is talking about?
If I started kind of a brag site where people could submit pictures and stories about their treasures, would any of you contibute? Or visit? Just a thought...

I would, if I could get my digital camera to cooperate! I tried taking pix of my Tanzie and it was awful! I can try again... let me know what you come up with regarding a place to "show off" !!!

Setting up a site would be easy. places like bravehost offer free sites, and i've already built one there (not about jewelry). All people would have to do is email me pics and text, and I can upload them onto the site. You can also have a forum on your site, sp people could talk pretty much like this.
Anyone have a good idea for a site name or anything else? I think this could be fun!
Oh, by the way? Where is everyone from? I live in Wickliffe, Ohio, near Cleveland.

About your camera troubles - I have that trouble too because I have shakey hands - too much mountain dew! LOL! My husband taught me a neat trick - if your digi has a sports setting or something like that, use it, because it is meant for taking motion shots. So if you are shakey like me, the camera will take care of that.

It does! I'm gonna try it! I have shaky hands too, but I don't know why. I'll let you know how it goes.

I live in W. Michigan about 15 miles from Lake Michigan but was born and raised in and around Manhattan, NYC. I moved here in 1992 b/c I didn't want to raise my daughter there... I had just seen too much violence & didn't want her subject to it. She's all grown up now at 23! She just bought a house! All by herself! I'm pretty proud, needless to say! <beaming>

I don't think I could do it. I have a digital camera but have not figured it out yet. I am not a tech person at all.

I'm intimidated to the max by mine but WE SHALL OVERCOME! lol

Mysty, I am going to ask my son-in-law to give me a lesson. Honestly, I'm amazed that I can use a computer, LOL.

Well I for one am glad that you can, Pebbles! Just wouldn't be the same without'cha!
My digital camera is a battery hound and that's the worst thing about THAT! I should get rechargable ones... I've got a zoom and close-up capabilities... now all I need is a bigger brain in my head to pull it all together!
