I'm sure they're going to post the winners soon... you could call the 800 number and ask when the winners are going to be announced. I hate HATE suspense so I know what you're going through! Ugh! <fingers & toes crossed for you to win!>

They did something with it yesterday, I think. A bunch of people were looking at the submissions. So it shouldn't be long.

I called JTV about it 4/15, and the call center rep put me on hold for ten minutes to tell me they would be announcing the finalists on 4/10. I'm like, "Hello, it's already after the 10th!!!" She's like, "Oh, duh. Hold on." Twenty minutes later, she gets back on, tells me she's sorry about the wait but nobody knew anything, so she had to wait till the show hosts stopped talking so she could ask one of them. (No wonder I waited 20 minutes! LOL) Anyway, she asked Mandy, and she didn't know anything either, and nobody even had a list so they could check for my name. They said it would eventually be posted online, but, hello, they made the announcement two weeks ago and the'll be announcing the winner in two weeks. By the time they get them on, it'll be pointless. I just can't believe they don't have them posted. Not everyone could watch the broadcast of the announcement, exspecially since they never announced when it was gonna be, so unless you just happed to be watching at the right time, you were SOL!!!

Anyway, employee, you said they were doing something with them recently? Have you seen any of the ones they were looking at? Mine would be really easy to spot. I drew the settings on black cardstock with a silver paint pen and then used tiny crystals to simulate the stones. They actually look like real necklaces sitting on a piece of paper. When I took digital pics and showed them to my friends and family, they couldn't believe they weren't real, 3D pieces of jewelry.
One is a three strand necklace with a large-ish flower set off to one side, pave set with rhodolite garnet and pink tourmaline with dangles hanging from it, the other is the kind of claspless, sculptural type of necklace you just stretch around your neck, assymetrical with a dragonfly on one side, a butterfly on the other, some flowers, some diamond bezel set dangles, all pave set with amythest, peridot, blue topaz, pink tourmaline, and light tanzie.

If you know anything about whether either of my pieces are in the running, I would appreciate it it, cuz it's become apparent that JTV isn't gonna let me know. Like I said, if you've seen them, you'll know exactly which ones I'm talking about.

Do you have a link where we would could look at them? I'ld love to see them and ALWAYS miss the broadcast. I don't know why they can't announce a particular time, but they sure won't. Grrrr! The pictures on the website last year were next to useless so I don't expect to get a good look this year either.

Oooohh Jewel! It sounds Awesome! I Can't wait to see it! How did you come up with the idea? I wish I could do that, just imagine a design and convey it so other people can see it the way I imagined! That's a talent, Girl!
