Hello everyone. :^ )

A forum for JTV! I am so happy that I found it. With an inside scoop, now and then; bonus!!

Maybe "emp/JTV" could re-register with a less specific username.
Let me be the first to pinky-swear, I am not looking for hurtful gossip.
Just the fun stuff! The whole TV shopping industry fascinates and infuriates me. LOL

Looking forward to dropping by, now and then!

Thanks beekeeper!

Do you own that bee pin? Love it! :^ )

Yes I do ... it's Joan Rivers, 21st century bee. :-)

Did you get "Joan of the Jungle" last week? That cracked me up!

I've admired the bees for years but have never taken the plunge. This 21st Century one, and the Cherry Bee might send me over the edge.

I have at least 50 of her bees (yes, I got the joan of the jungle last week). I love them ... don't actually wear them (except the cherry bee pin), just collect. Something I've been doing with my Mom for several years. The Cherry one is very cute ... goes great with my Louis Vuitton cherry bag! :-)

Welcome, Francesca. I love that name. I think Zsa Zsa Gabor named her daughter Francesca. Very elegant.

I have the very first one of Joan's bees. It's not designed too well. The pin is too short and it's hard to clasp and it's not well balanced. Someone, Bee I think, posted that they are much better now. But one is enough for me.

Thanks pebbles! Great forum. :^ )

beekeeper, I had no idea that there were at least 50 different bees. I'll have to keep an eye out for the earlier ones. My first ever Joan purchase, after all these years, is waiting for me at the post office. I finally caved for the Cherry Pin! I am a marketing exec's worst nightmare.

Hopefully I can get to town and pick up my parcel in the next day or two.

I hope you like it Francesca! The newer pins are larger ... and easier to fasten. Let me know if you like it once you get it!

I'm pretty sure there are at least 15 or 20 of Joans bees that I don't have ... I scout out Ebay all the time for the oldies but goodies!

Got to town, opened my parcel as quick as I could . . . . . . .

CHEAP, CRAPPY COUNTERFEIT!!!! WAHHHHHH!

Jeez, I was ticked. I asked the seller before I bought, "Is it new? Is it in the box?"
She answered my e-mail in a flash, yes and yes, and seemed so pleasant; plus has good feedback. Well, I guess I SHOULD have asked "Is it real?"
Her descrip says Joan Rivers but I realize now it doesn't say "authentic". That probably lets a lot of this fake stuff get listed. The box she sent it in is a used JR box that would have held a pair of earrings, not a pin.

The listing says all sales final, but I sent her an e-mail anyway. Nice as pie, I told her I thought she must not be aware of it but her Joan Rivers pin was a fake and I was very disappointed in the purchase. She replied right away that I should return it and she would refund me. I was expecting to hear "Tough luck, sistah."

So, I guess I'll see . . . . still have the hassle of driving back to town to the PO to return it. GRRRRR!

My first e-bay dud! :-(

Ahhh crap! Sorry Francesca ... it's happened to me too, but I was unable to return them, so at leat you were lucky in that aspect!

Yes, you were lucky to get a refund. Fortunately, the sellers worry about their feedback and they are smart to do so. I will not buy from anyone who has negative feedback.

Me either Pebbles. I won't even buy from someone who has a low feedback ... between 1 and 20 ...

It's too risky, especially if you are a seller!
