I saw the Models Prefer Mystical Lip Lacquer presented the other day. It looked interesting, I just wanted to know if anyone uses it. Or, are the Fran Wilson lipsticks better? I haven't tried either one, but I would like to. Thanks!

I love my MP lipsticks, glosses, lacquers and what have you. They wear well, the colors are rich and don't tend to fade and they don't dry out my lips. I had a bad experience with FW. But I think I am one of the few that don't like any of those products-as much as I wanted to.

I have a set of FW Luxury glosses that I really like. I also have a MP compact with little glosses in them. The colors are really pretty in the MP compact. I would like to get larger ones as they are kind of small in the compact. I also like the BE lipsticks and Smashbox Lip Fusion.

Hey KITC!
I was wondering how the smashbox lip fusion held up on real every day people. I have all those damned minis and adore them. My lippie collection is actually dwindling from quite the horde so am looking for suggestions for new stuff to try-while trying to convince BR™ to send me her cast-offs! lol

And for everyone that hasn't tried this yet...RUN..order the stila lipglazes. A dear sweet friend gave them to me as a gift and I am just about out of them. You won't be disappointed and they taste great.

I would just like a good lipstick that stays on and doesn't feather.

Thanks HHiGirl, I will try the Stilla lippies!

GG - Have you tried a pencil? Smashbox has a clear one that's supposed to work pretty good without looking like you have a liner on.

Kitty - I haven't. I'm the queen of lipstick, have 6 in my purse, 2 on my desktop, and about 4,000 at home on my dressing table. I used to use a lip liner all the time, but now I just want to be quick, and do it without the use of a mirror. It could be that I'll have to go back to one though.

laura mercier makes a nice lip gloss....it's a little pricey but to me it's worth it...good idea about the clear lip pencils

Hi KITC - was it you who ordered the Philosophy Big Mouth? If so, have you received, have you tried? Every day, I'm on a site putting that in my shopping cart, but never following through. The presentation really made me interested! Once you get, please report back. (Hope it was you who ordered! lol)

Philosophy Big Mouth didn't work for me. I bought two, gave them away. Didn't see any change in my lips.

I have the philosophy Big Mouth and I like it. I can see change from using it, especially after regular use. It's not as dramatic as others, such as Lip Venom, but it isn't as glossy and sticky as those and is easier to wear.

I've tried lip plumpers in various brands, (I don't really need them, just think somehow, that they might help me keep what I have) and always seem to get kind of a redness around my lips, and find that it's irritating.

Must be the ingredients they use to cause the lips to swell some.

You have be very careful to not get the plumper on the skin outside the lips because that's exactly how they work, by irritating the skin. Some of them sting like crap. You're lucky that you don't need them. My lips were always small, but since I quit smoking and started using lip conditioners and plumpers a lot, they look so much younger.

Well, that makes sense then Jas. I always had very full lips, and notice they are getting a little smaller, but I like the full lip look so do what I can to keep them that way! lol!

Also, I have to say that all the plumpers are kinda greasy, so while they do swell the lip some, they sure don't help in keeping your lipstick on, once applied.
