I know how we all "love" JRT, but I will say that she looks nice tonight. I think she has highlights in her hair, which is the first time I've seen her with them, and they don't look so bad.

There was a caller just a few mins ago who was talking about all the items she purchased tonight during Gem Fest. Jade earrings, matching chunky jade necklace, smoky quartz earrings w/matching ring (huge stone!)... and I think she bought one more piece. Goodness, that's a lot to spend in a short amount of time. She said that some of it is a present from her kitties. For some reason, I felt for her, wondering if she is one of those QVC addicts. I hope not! I hope she just had saved some money for a rainy day and today is her rainy day.

Jane's hair looks a lot better the color it is now - much better than the red she used to be. I think she's good at her job - knows the products, etc. but I just never cared for her - she's too pushy and shrill. And I usually find her frumpy looking. But she did look pretty last night - I liked the dress - color and style. I did not care for her sparkly nails plus they just look too thick and chunky to me - not well done as acrylics go. She looks great when she's glammed up by pros lol - like at Q's special events such as when they do the Shoes on Sale for breast cancer awareness/charity.
By the way when/why did she drop the "Rudolph" from her name?

I know what you mean about some callers ordering so much from one show - it's kind of sad and pathetic sometimes.

Jane's hair was really pretty last night. She was doing a Gem Show about 2 months ago and she wearing a ivory suit and her hair had great that night also. I think the lighter hair makes her look younger also.

I liked Jane's hair long and curly as she wore it many, many years ago. I do prefer it either brunette or red though. I think the blonde hilites make her look older. Her makeup was the best when she was on with Joan Rivers a few weeks ago as even Joan make a comment about it.

I agree that Jane looked nice last night. She looks good when she wears a suit (tailored) and the dress last night was flattering. When she starts with some of the "cutting edge" stuff it just does not work. Thursday she was on camera and doing a show about the beach. She wore an attractive skirt and twin set for the previous jewlery show and as she started to preview the items in the beach show she decided to wear alot of them. Oh my God! She put on this silly floppy beach hat, sunglasses and thong sandles. She looked ridiculous; the camera stayed on her about one second and then cut away to the items. When the camera came back to Jane, she did not have any of the items on. I don't know what she was thinking by putting all that crap on at once. The camera backed away from her like it does Pat James DiMentri after some of her cosmetic surgery.

I'm not much into the jewelry shows, but did catch some of Gem night the other night, and have to argee Jane looked great. Her hair was darling and the dress..gorgeous! Perfect color for her. She should wear her hair like that all the time.

I must admit that JRT's hair is looking better. The new cut de-emphasizes the ears and her make up is more attractive, too. I watched a bit of her jewelry show last night, and she seemed more subdued and not so screechy.

Did anyone watch the premier of Red Envelope with JRT? Did you buy anything? I thought the jewlery was nice, unique and priced fair. Not sure how the quality is.

Does Red Envelope have a catalog? It seems so familiar to me. I think I must have received one or two in the mail. I couldn't make it for the show ... too late for me. :(

Yes Aussie (hi!), redenvelope.com and they also have a catalog. Nice stuff, but way overpriced, IMO. I ordered some candies from them once and the box was so small, for a brand I'd never heard of. But they do have nice things, and if nothing else, can give you good ideas that you can put together yourself.

I was just at their site ... I have gotten their catalog before. So many come, it's hard to keep up!

I wanted to look up the 'Pea in a Pod' necklace the ladies were talking about up above. I looked on the review on QVC.com, but it must have sold out, because it wasn't on there. It was a cute necklace, cute idea. I'm really not wild about pearls, though.

Aussie, did you find a pic of the necklace? I went to qvc.com and just searched on "pea pod" and it came up. It is cute, but this season beads seem to be the big thing - big, long beads! So that's what I'm into now. I'd like to get a turquoise necklace - doesn't have to be real, bc there are so many beads all over the place now, I can prob find a fake one at a nice price.

Hi hk, I actually found it at RedEnvelope's site. It is a cute idea but I think I'll pass. :)
