Gee Whiz, guys, it's like now when I sign on here all I hear are crickets and tumbleweeds blowing about! Where did everybody go? Please don't let a couple of (hopefully by now) cleared-up arguments ruin everybody's fun!!! Apologys have been made... both sides had their say... Come on now, can't we just learn to get along??? Of course everyone can't please everyone... but why abandon such a cool place to get together and talk about the things we all have in common?
We had a GREAT THING HERE!!! It seems like all has calmed down and we can get back to coming here again for our favorite topics... Gems, Jewelry...JTV...
Please, PLEASE don't let the events of the past few days spoil our great board!
Beekeeper! Garnet! Hellfire! Vanentina! LindaLou! BookChick! HelloKitty! Anybody else that I I didn't mention...COME BACK!!!!!!!!

I also wanted to extend my apology once again to those "regulars" that frequent here. Although my comments and transgressions were meant for only a few....I DID unjustly lump a few of you kind people in with those "bad apples" and I sincerely apologize.

This place is still a great place to hang out!

Hellfire
05-01-2006, 08:12 PM
Sorry, I just got busy:(

Good thing I did. Looks like I got to miss out on a lot. Thank God!
Then I come back to find fun going on again:) Lucky me!

So I feel like I haven't seen, heard, and done did nothing, but have fun.

By they way Mysty I demand! Demand! Demand! you come out with me and my friends
some weekend! We have been having way to much fun now the weather is nice! Come June we have overnight camping trip planned. I almost called your work last weekend to see if I could get ahold of you to come out with us. We threw an award ceremony for no reason. The awards were hysterical. It was so much fun!

I will try to stop in some nights just to say hi.......and tell you to come to the next award ceremony! Although I'm thinking having a Scruples night. This could be fun;)

mystylady
05-02-2006, 12:32 AM
Sounds like FUN! Woo Hoo! What kind of awards? lol you're too much! I've always wanted to play Scruples cuz it looks fun but I don't know anyone who has the game. Is it an easy one to learn?
I LOVE camping! We go to Pine's Point a LOT and also up north to Manistee. My boyfriend bought a Jet Ski and he's itching like mad for me to get on it! I told him it has to at least be a LITTLE warmer. Believe it or not, I can't swim! How's that for someone who lives right on the Lake???
We love to fish too! I caught a 36 inch Salmon last year on White Lake! It was GY-NOR-MUS! I got her all by myself too! EWWWWWW I know it was a "she" because of <brrrrrr> all of the eggs inside! eeweeweeweew Ranks up there with the top 5 ickiest things I've ever seen.
I KNEW I should have beat feet before he got to that part!

They changed my schedule AGAIN! Now it's Wed's & Thurs's. I actually went to your work once (I needed aspirin or something anyway) but I was afraid to look too long at the name tags cuz I didn't want anyone to think I was a weirdo or something! lol... So I don't know if I saw you or even if I was at the right place! lol ya gotta PM me & tell me which one it is!
Remember, I work stupid hours... 11pm to 7am! I'm the one with the "traumatized that I'm there"
look on my face! I'm usually in the aspirin or cold remedy aisle. <rolls eyes> What I would give to have a cool dude job that I really love! No word on the minivan yet :-P
Sorry to go so OT everyone! Does the fact that I'm watching JTV right now count? ...lol

bookchick
05-02-2006, 03:15 AM
OT is the best part of the bb's--no need to apologize, at least on my part

Awww thanks Bookie! As you can probably tell, Hellfire and I live within a few miles of one another, if that! Small world, isn't it? Wouldn't it be great if we ALL lived near each other and could all get together??? I'd pick Knoxville TN! Then we could all go to JTV!

wow, leave the boards for a few days and find out that Misty has joined up (sweeeetness) and I get trashed talked by "Kilo" hehehe.. good to see things have boiled down since... because I would've probably just opened my mouth a little too much directed towards someone who likes to mention my mother..

Glad to see I found "trouble" from the likes of whomever you are... and don't worry yourself over me "hiding" behind a spervisor.. I'm all grown up and have nothing to hide. My job is pretty secure, especially from the likes of you. I even used a monaker that anyone from JTV would recognise.. you know, the one that Misty & Nikki gave me about 7 years ago..

Oh yeah, and Wrena (my mother) says "Hi".. she's doing VERY well being the regional director of The American Council for the Blind..

Anywho, I'm glad to see that our Hosts are on board here and bringing the "Inside Juice" to you guys and gals... sorry I sound miffed, but talk trash about me all you want, leave my mother out of it...

I'm sure she'll get a good giggle about the "mini Wrena" hehehe..

No, I'm not a host.. they have a talent I could never do.

I used to be in Production doing the Graphics and Camera work during the "good ole days" when Production was in the studio WITH the Hosts. I wore/wear a black cap with an embroidered "Slacker" logo.. hence the nickname Misty & Nikki gave me (I wear it almost every day).

Now I'm hidden away in a dark little office making the commercials, info spots & promos for the company. One of the reasons why I'm interested in what people enjoy seeing on the air and especially for the Christmas program. Preparation now will only make it better :)

Well, as you've probably read ... I really enjoyed the Christmas programming. I have a small family, so our "Holiday" celebrations don't typically fill the whole day. I come home and watch JTV ... LOVE the cooking segments and the behind the scenes stuff!

So, did we see you during the Holiday programming?!? :-)

Thats considering you get started on the Christmas program before the month of December!
Why we wait that late is beyond me!

Most networks are done with Christmas content prduction around October!

Preaching to the choir...

We've been trying to start Christmas programming in July (when we tape stuff for Christmas In July SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMs) for 4 years now...
Last year we were told we weren't doing one UNTIL November when they decided to change their minds.. ugghhh..

So.. we have to scramble and come up with content (which is why last year's had so much re-hash)...

I really hope we get permission to start sooner this year.. so far its in the plans *crosses fingers*

I had to stay home cuz I had a terrible flu last Christmas, and I saw the JTV special in its entirety about three times!!! I thought it was very nice that they posted on-air my Christmas Message I had submitted online to my daughter, who had turned one year old that Christmas Eve.
As far as what you should put on, way more beind the scenes stuff, like maybe the museum, show some show planning, how your warehouse works, and so on. And it would be really neat to see some of the show hosts homes and even their jewelry or gemstone collections.

i bought myself a little ring from the Q, just because
it's about a 1 carat oval, surrounded by insignificant diamonds, but i love it!
it's one of my everyday right hand rings

every time i look at it , i'm reminded of the color of shallow water in bermuda

it makes me happy...

Right!!! Beautiful, clear Caribbean water... warm, friendly, inviting! Don't you just love it!
I could look at my Blue Zircons all the live long day!
They have so many cool things about them! They're the heaviest gemstone! That's why a higher carat weight stone will be a smaller mm size. They're one of the most doubly refractive gems too... and, my favorite, their dispersion is close to a Diamonds! What Pop! What Fire! Tssssssssss!!!

{{{Pebbles)))

It's so hard to see your loved ones go through an illness or pain or both. Thank God we live in the day and age that we do, with all the advances in medicine. Still, as a mother, to have your child be sick in any way is the worst thing ever. You want to just make it all better.

My boyfriend gets gout in his foot sometimes and the pain of that is terrible, like the pain of bursitis is. I think they're similar. Either way, it's definately no fun for them.

I've got you and your family in my "Thoughts" (to be politically correct! lol) BIG TIME!

Check back when you can and we'll save your spot, OK?
Soon, things will be back to normal and it'll be all behind you!
We'll be here if you need to talk!

Oh yeah. Back to jewelry. This MAY belong on the Q BB, I don't know, but a woman came into the store I work this evening, and she had on what appeared to be, a beautiful heart shaped blue sapphire, surrounded by diamonds in either white gold or platinum.

WELL, imagine my surprise when she told me it was Diamonique, from the Ephinany line! All that, and 3 easy payments!

I actually gave her my phone number, and she promised to call with the item #. THAT'S how good that sucker looked. The ring I mean, of course. Ahem.

Awwww, shucks! What a nice thing to say, LL! It's just so lousy to have bad things happen to you or the ones you love... everyone needs encouragement sometimes and to know that somebody cares. It really makes a difference.

Dood! So ya had a "rib jam"! Awesome! Hope it was a Heavy Metal song! lol Or "In a Gadda La " by Iron Butterfly, which is the longest Rock 'n Roll song ever recorded!!! You can also substitute drumsticks for the xylophone thingys; increases the "feel good factor" by at least 25%! LOL
Plus you can use her head for the "high hat" (get it? LOL LOL) and her foot for the bass drum! LMAO!
The ring sounds fantabulous!
I've been seeing Diamonique a lot on the Q lately. Wish JTV would use the kind of killer lighting that they do cuz them babys just flish flash! Hope you get it!

LOL Do ya get it??? HIGH HAT??? Oh brother! I'm such a goofball sometimes lol! and the FOOOOOT PEDAL???? Jeeeez!
*shudder*
Remember on Bugs Bunny when the bear was chasing Elmer Fudd & Bugs yelled at him to "play dead" and he did and the bear stops short, sniffs at Elmer and goes "PEEEE-YOUUUUUU"? That's what the dogs would do! LOL
Ok enough of THAT! LMAO

WOOHOOOOO! You GOT it! Excellent! Isn't it exciting when it comes, right before you open the package up??? For a while there I think I was addicted to seeing that grey "bubble-wrap-on-the-inside" envelope in my mailbox! Us JTV'ers know that envelope WELL, don't we???
I can't wait to hear how you like it!
Most of my jewelry is CZ but that's OK for now... makes me appreciate the real deal that much more. And it IS super sparkley!
There's NOTHING on TV right now! The Q has Diamonique, HSN has Absolute! JTV's not on till way later. Just waiting for Inked & CRISS ANGEL (ooohbabybabybaby) on A&E at 9:00 & 10:00... Oh yeah! I'll watch Marvin on Gemshopping.com! I always forget that I can watch online!
You've GOT to check it out if you already haven't, you all! Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but if you love gems (and you know who you are! LOL) you'll love "Gemstones With Marvin"! Most of their wares are "window shopping only" prices, but how often do you get to see a 50,000 Pareiba Tourmaline or a 96,000 Padparadscha Sapphire??? Right now Marvin's auctioning a $14,500 Pad and the bid is $3,100... free appraisal... 3,200 now... Damn Marvin is an annoying auctioneer tho! LOL he always says when the auction's over "GOODBYE GONE"
Soon he's gonna show a 3.27 ctw Cushion cut Tsavorite!
Holy Crap! An Emerald cut "Dark Super Neon Tanzie", 12.07 ctw! List??? Only $25,350! Selling it for $10,850!!! Like I said, VERY VERY high end but My! Isn't it Grand to pretend?
just go to gemshopping.com and click on "watch live"! Marvin's a Trip without Luggage!
It's an interactive show too, so if you call with a request he'll say your name and "talk to you"! It's pretty cool! If you say when you call "tell Marvin that **** says Hello! He'll say hi back! LOL

How are YOU doing? How are you holding up? Sometimes it helps to just stop doing everything you're doing, go outside for a minute by yourself, close your eyes, raise your face to the sun, let it shine on your face and just BREATHE IN... BREATHE OUT... and make, FORCE! your shoulder muscles and neck muscles to relax...
I see you as a caregiver. One who gives care. And means it. But don't forget about YOU! It's OK to put your slippered feet up on that ottoman and read for a spell or knit or whatever makes you happy!
Would you listen to me! That will be $5.00...$10.00 for a house call! LOL
I'm really relieved to hear that things are beginning to look up! I was worried about you and I've been Praying for you and yours too.
Did they take the animation out of your ice cream like they did to my Grimmy? No... yours just sat there and looked delicious. Now mine looks like he's shielding his "stuff" and saying with the other hand... use your imagination! Typical!

You talk with a New Yawk accent??? Me too! I didn't know you also were from NY!!! Unless, you just like and adopted the accent? I'm thinking no.

Ahhh, some of your song renditions take me back, waaay back. I used to love that song Feelings! Whoa, whoa, whoa, feelings.

OK WHAT REALLY HAS HAPPENED TO OUR WONDERFUL BOARD?

I had to fight my way through a foot of crickets just to post this.

Look, if it's that we're too nice, we're just nice on the surface. Misty really IS orange, Scott is too hyper, Mandy is a broken record, Janine is too mousy, Angela is too overwhelming, they ALL fudge about retail prices and the sets suck.

Whew.

Not good enough?

Well shit on me.

Misty really IS orange, . . . .

Now hold on a second there! Just today I thought, she's looking nicely tanned. Faux or otherwise. LOL

The other night she had her hair flat ironed smooth on that new cut and looked like a million dollars! But the Tennesee humidity won out again by the next day . . . Miss Wild'n'crazy Hair! But I love her. And Misty, if you stop by, I'm loving your short and natural looking manicure too!

Yeah, I like Misty too, but she's gone back to the "old ways" of the countdown, the repeating herself, etc. Maybe my TV makes her look "oranger" than she really is?

Don't expect her or any other JTV folks to be stopping by, at least outright. Supposedly the High Mucky Mucks at JTV have forbidden their employees from this site. We must be a bad influence! LOL
I think it's stupid, personally. So odd. Probably a lot more went down than we know about or something.

So glad to see you back!
