Not sure if this has been done, if so please forgive me.

I'm a huge movie fan ... probably see too many to be quite honest with you! But, I still have a list of movies that I could watch over and over! Do you? thought it would be fun to list and discuss.

My list:

When a man loves a woman (all time fave ... sigh ... Andy Garcia)
The Children of Heaven (foreign)
Grease
Y tu Mama Tambien (foreign)
Hanging up
The Birdcage
Beautiful Things (foreign)
The Bodyguard
Closer (sigh ... Clive Owen)
Romy and Michelle's HS Reunion (lol)
Steel Magnolias
Stepmom
Get real (foreign)
Chasing Liberty
Pretty Woman

I'm sure I'll come up with more, but this is a good starting point for me. Can't wait to see what everybody else enjoys!

There are SO many movies I have yet to see! Very few that I have to watch again. But Bridget Jones' Diary I watch again and again just for the kiss at the end. And every time Shawshank Redemption is on TV I get sucked in to it.

Bee, this is a cute idea! Mockers, I agree completely with Shawshank Redemption. My husband still can't believe it's a Stephen King story.

Mr. Blandings Builds His Dreamhouse
Penny Serenade
Witness
Steel Magnolias
Where the Heart Is
The Wedding Singer <I never claimed to be highbrow> lol
The Blues Brothers
Remember The Titans
History of The World Part 1
Key Largo

The Searchers

I know I'm forgetting some.

I agree! Last night TCM ran a really nice piece on Bette Davis.

I would like to add:

12 Angry Men (this movie is so powerful)
To Kill A Mockingbird (thanks for reminding me, MrsJohnDoe)

I need to add last years Derailed (again, clive owen ... sigh) and Muriels Wedding! I can't believe I left that off earlier! I've probably seen it a dozen times ... whenever I'm flipping and I see it, I can't help but watch!

My husband and I rented Animal House last weekend. We hadn't seen it since high school. (Defnitely not highbrow but we did laugh out loud!)

There's only one movie that I will set the alarm to get up and see any time of the night...and I must have seen it 150 times..."The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow. Each and every time I see it, I notice something I've never seen before. I confess, I've read the book a dozen times, too!

I have to admit a couple things ... I've never seen the following:

Gone with the wind (never had the desire)
Casablance (never had the desire)
The way we were (would love to see)

But I have seen White chicks and Scary Movie (I, II, III, IV) ... ugh! I can't believe I just admitted that! :-(

All Time Fave: Moulin Rouge

Nicole Kidman should have won an Oscar for her role & Ewan McGregor is just too delicious for words. And they both did their own singing. Baz Luhrman is probably my all time favorite director.

Rest of faves (in no particular order)

The Sound of Music
Sin City
Strictly Ballroom (Baz Luhrman again)
Orgazmo (a hysterical Trey Parker & Matt Stone early work)
Baseketball (another riotous Trey Parker/Matt Stone film)
XXX (Vin Diesel - need I say more?)

And when I'm in that type of mood: Toy Story 1&2 & Snow White.
