I was wondering if anyone has tried this product? I just ordered it today and was wondering if I made the right choice.

Thank you for any information you might have!

Are you talking about The Big Skinny? This stuff rubs off on your clothes, no matter how long you wait for it to dry, even to the next day.

The Big Skinny is a waste, IMO.

I would be very careful about any self tanner for the face. Test it on a sturdier part than face first, maybe. If you don't like it or if it is too harsh for your face, send it back!

I personally do not use any fake tanners ... i am a fake n bake person and love the tanning booth. i do sell avon and see that within the new two campaigns they are coming out with a tanning lotion similar to the jergens line. I do use the jerson line on occassion and it it si really nice ... does not rub off on my clothing nor turn my skin orange. As an Avon rep, I will try the new line ... I have never been dissapointed with Avon so time will tell.

I really like the Jergen's line, and I see they have come out with one for the face, too. I have never used anything like that on the face, and I don't think I ever will. I just use a little more bronzer.

I sent Philosophy's Big Skinny back to QVC. YUCK!!!! I have been using Loreal's Sublime tanning towels and like them very much. They also make something for your face which I havent tried yet. You never want to use the same self tanning product on your face that you do on your body.

Garnet, how is the scent with that? My sister swears by towels but I have never tried them.

Oh Novalee, there is hardly any smell at all :) I couldnt use the Jergens line because of the smell, it ended up in the garbage. The older I get the more sensitive I am to "smells."

BTW, in case anyone is interested, Loreal tan towels do not streak. I have been using them for a month now and I have had no problems with streaking.

Garnet, I think you've sold me. That is the one complaint I have with the Jergens. I do like the color it gives me, but even when I use it at night and shower in the morning, I can still smell it. And I wouldn't mind it if I liked it, but I don't.

Novalee, I think you will be happy with Loreal. When you first open the packet and apply, there is a slight smell but believe me, it goes away within minutes. If it lingered, it would be in the garbage with the Jergens. LOL

I bought the Loreal sublime tanning towels today and I really like them, too. Very very slight scent. Not unpleasant at all. Did not seem to streak. Much better than that Toni Brattin chocolate pudding cream I used last year. What a mess! Haven't tried the face ones yet. I still have a sample of Clarins self tanner from Sephora for the face and it is really nice, but probably really expensive.

Well, I bought the towels yesterday, and I'll use them this weekend. I was encouraged by the fact that I smelled the L'Oreal equivalent to the Jergens while I was standing there, and the scent was so much better! Garnet, thanks again for recommending them. Now I can't wait to use them!

Kitty and Bookie, thanks for your input, too. :)

bookchick ~ Do you have a fair complexion? I do and have been afraid of looking weird if I use tanner on my face.

yes i do!
i love self tanners, but some are too 'extreme' for me
the loreal is subtle, and i think is made for almost every day use once i get the color i like, i use as needed

clinique or origins used to have a nice every day facial tanner, but they discontinued it
BOO!

Received this product last night. I used it this morning with my cream foundation and it gave me really nice color.
