You know what would be fun?

If after a while, maybe in a year or so, after we all get to know each other a little better, we could all maybe take sort of a "club trip" - go to Tennesee, see JTV, go to the museum and the store, maybe meet Misty, maybe even get on TV!!!! That would be fun!!!! My husband would never go, as I'm sure some of yours wouldn't either. Us gem junkies could get together for a weekend or something and have a ball! I think it would be interesting to see what everybody is like in real life, if we are the same or different than we think.

A bunch of us over on the QVC boards were trying to plan something similar last year ... but scheduling became a nightmare, and the idea kind of died.

It would be fun ... I've never been down South (except Florida).

We tried that on another board and it was just too difficult. Also, it was around 9/11 so that put a damper on it.

Yeah, but I don't think it would be two hard since there are only just a few of us. If we just picked the dates and decided on a hotel, we could just make it so we are each responsible for our own transportation. I would drive, but some people may want to fly. I really don't think it would be that hard. And if we start in advance, no problem. I would be willing to drive everone around once we got there, I have a HUGE car. I would imagine there would only be about five of us, anyway. We could even try to get double rooms to save a little money.

Love the enthusiasm!!!! It sounds fun! I couldn't afford a "road trip" right now but it's definatly something to hope and save for!

I say we plan for a year from now, next May. Close to summer but not so close that it would be vacation paradise like it would be in June or July. What do you all say? Let's do it!!! Live a little!!! That gives us twelve months to save up an ample jewelry fund!!!!
