I like Lena too. She seems professional and polished and seemed pretty focused on presenting products without running over vendors or proclaiming to own every product.
For these hosts to own as many items as some of them claim to, they'd have to have warehouses in their backyards.

That is really nasty of you to suggest that some QVC ladies are indecent! Which ones have this bad rep, according to you? Marybeth Roe, Lisa Mason, Jacque Gonzales, etc. all seem like they lead respectable married lives off camera. The only one totally unsuitable in belief as a wife and homemaker ever is Lisa Robertson and she's still seemingly pretty decent in behavior too.
Furthermore, just cause Lena was camerashy as a host doesn't mean she's ultra-decent in reallife.

I agree with Irishlass.........I wish Leah was going to........I can't stand her laugh, and it seems to be getting worse. Lena justs seems to "be there" in the physical, but not really into selling the products. She was just on, and seemed pleasant enough, but a little subdude. I hope Christa is coming back. I liked her a lot.

And she has done this since she first came to QVC and she has been there over 5 years! thats what drove me nuts about her. I think she is a nice person and a good mother and a beautiful woman but her language skills were like listening to a 3rd grader speak. Lots of time that is how I "watch" QVC - I have it on and I am in another room just listening - I may wander in when they start a new presentation but leave and go back to whatever I was doing and just listen - she was horrible! I wish her the best. having 3 kids and two of them little ones - I hope her husband is making tons of money cause they are expensive little buggers.

I agree. IMO, Lena is a terrible host. She talks too fast and always messes up. It seems like her head is way ahead of her mouth and her mouth just can't catch up (no matter how hard it tries). It amazes me that she lasted as long as she did. You would think a host should be able to speak without always messing up. But that may be asking too much, since it seems that skill is not required at the Q (look how long Sheila lasted ; and Patti's still around).

I am stunned that she is leaving,but I always felt that Lena wasn't natural enough when she sold a product.It seemed as though she needed to focus very hard on the product when she was selling which detracted from her having a relaxed affect on air.I like her,but her sales skills would not make me purchase a product.As for Leah,I love her.It took me a long time to get used to her,but she seems really pleasant,has an easy style and is much more of a natural at this.With Lena,you never really got a sense of who she was...you never really saw her real personality...she was always a bit uneasy.But she is pretty and seems like a wonderful mom...maybe she just needs to be home with her newborn and maybe she'll come back in the future like JRT did.

I think we shoud really stick to facts, as there have been quite a few speculations on the board here. For instance someone thought Jane Treacy was pregnant a few months after she came back last year, and that turned out to be false, Also someone mentioned that Christa Pitts is returning back to QVC. We don't know if Lena is really leaving and if Christa is coming back. We should just stick to the facts, and see what Lena announces, and what another host has to say on Christa returning (if that is true)

From what I remember, the last few hosts to leave didn't give the audience notice. They said they were leaving and just never were on the air again.....which IMO is not right. I think they should let us know in advance. I liked Lena but hated when she presented pocket books. She was once selling bags that were over $200 but didn't show the inside. I wanted to scream thru the TV because if I'm spending that much on a bag, I would like to see the inside. Is that asking too much???

I personally love Lena. She does seem unfocused but as a mother of 3 kids who also works fulltime I totally relate to her. It is not an easy task.

Also Christa announced with her departure that she would be back on the Q. The way she worded it, it sounded like she would be a vendor. Then again the Q may have asked her back to replace Lena. All she needs to do is ride a train into Phili or she could have worked it into her contract to get a limo.

I didn't know about these boards last year but now that you mentioned JT and rumors of her pregnancy - I could swear I remember JT making an announcement shortly after she came back that she was pregnant. I spoke with a friend and they commented sure, she comes back to go out on maternity leave. Then months went by with no mention of a baby I assumed she miscarried.

I like Lena and will miss her when and if she leaves.

It's very understandable unlike a former host who recently left who was unfocused and bumbling but she was single with no kids........guess who? Obviously, she/he doesn't know anything about the location of the io. QVC is located in the Philadelphia burbs and you don't just hop a train.
I once heard from one of the host at the Q, that Christa left so that her husband could pursue his modeling career.
As for Lisa R. what or where could she go and recieve the compliments she expects to hear every day??? She wants to be courted by someone rich so she can live in Manhattan. OMG, wouldn't it be great if they took her tv monitor away. Maybe then she would concentrate on the products rather than herself..........
