18 KT Gold over Sterling Silver jewelry

hi all, was wondering if anyone has bought 18 kt. gold over sterling silver jewelry before? Does it last a lifetime? Does it tarnish or lose the 18 kt. over time?

Was just wondering. Usually the jewelry is quite inexpensive, was wondering if it was worth it.

I personally hate the stuff. Whatever I have seen of this product, it's always WAY too yellow, and it does lose it's color over time.

Not a good product. You're better off just buying solid 10 or 14 if you can't afford the 18.
