Anyone watch this yesterday? I thought she acted more nice than usual. Her blouse was hideous. Is she prego?

Jill did a great job as usual on her show. My husband bought us the one time only they had on the tapestry comforter set. It was gorgeous and for $45 well worth it. Can't wait to get it. Jill seemed very impressed with the set too.

If she takes more time off she won't be what I term a backbone host. Backbone hosts have to be reliable with their presence on the Q (among other things).

IMO - I do not like Jill as of now and her show ... I feel she has become quite 'matronly'. She was sooo much fun prior to her marriage and child ... funky denim outfits, more outgoing etc. It's like she has either 'ages' really really fast or has fallen into that stepford wife phase where she dare not do anything wrong ... Again, IMO

Jill is also 38 years old. or close to be 40, yeah she started having kids late, almost all the female hosts on QVC were in their 30's when they had their 1st kid. and im talking very 1st kid, not 2nd, not 3rd, not 4th, 5th, 6th...etc

Jacque Gonzales is 36 having her 1st kid in November
Jane Treacy is 44 was 34 when she had her 1st kid in February 1996
Pat Dementri is 42 was 32 when she had her 1st kid March 1996
Laurie Shore is 39 was 38 when she had her 1st kid October 2005
So I'm pretty sure as they age, age gets to them, not as fast as before, especially when they have a 1 year old.

I really enjoy watching You're Home with Jill. I love decorating and I can always pick up a good tip from the show. Plus, she's one of my favorite females hosts.

I guess I just don't get into her 'home show' because my decorating tastes are very electic: black, red, rod iron black and silver. Not into the homey stuff ... I shouldn't have judged her based on my combo art deco / vintage / retro decorating tastes!

She did look a little full around her middle.

No offense intended, Vivvie. I am sure you have impeccable decorating skills. But its WROUGHT IRON--not rod iron. Just trying to help. I make my share of mistakes too. Plus, for Puddy's sake, I don't want to make baby Jesus cry! LOL!

Pat James Dementri seems a lot older than 42- I remember when she gave her bio online on QVC a number of years ago- and I thought- "What about those commercials you used to do?" I remember that very distinctive face many years ago doing commercials- and she was the only host whom I recognized when they joined. I figure she didn't mention the commercials because they'd "date" her quite a bit. I've worked in the entertainment business (actress, casting agent) for years- and no one gives out their real age.

Peekiebear, what commercials (for what products) was she in? I don't remember ever seeing her but if you gave the products maybe it would jog my memory. I don't doubt she was!

Read her QVC bio it states "she was in a jean commercial." It also mentions a movie role.

I think Baby Jesus has more important things to cry about.

I love Jill! She's my favorite host and love "You're home with Jill". Monday's show was excellent. I do agree the top she had on wasn't the most flattering style for her. She's still carrying a bit of weight after having Trevor and it showed in that top. Maybe she should have gone up one size.
