Yes, Leslie said early this a.m. that she is staying at Lisa R's house. And this afternoon after "their" show, they are going out for dinner. I wonder if Lisa gets her BE free from Leslie.

No. Lisa steals it. If you watch closely, sometimes you will see her hang on to items that have already been presented. She also makes cracks about security and them trying to stop her from taking various beauty products. I find it low class behavior from a low class person - joking or serious. It's just bad form.

I have a really old post about Lisa stealing BE lipsticks. She got caught on air when the camera came back after a break a couple of seconds too soon. She jammed the lipsticks in Leslie's pocket. I don't hate Lisa, I just have zero respect for her. No integrity at all. Never had it, never will.

What you saw could either be Lisa using her own lipsticks on display or once a lipstick is used on air, it can't be sold so the host or model who uses that lipstick gets to keep it.

Who would want a lipstick used by someone else?

A sample is a sample and all samples are QVC's property. Samples are accounted for when products are ordered and later sold and it's not up to a show host to help themselves, especially on air. The upcoming TSV is from Chesapeake Bay for example. QVC knows how many they ordered and paid for and they also have so many set aside to cook and eat on air. The value of the samples is accounted for elsewhere in their financial statement. Consider it 'the cost of doing business'. If it is not given to you and you take it, you are a thief, period. Lisa Mason even made a comment a while back about an e-mail that was sent to hosts about this very topic. I think the interns are too scared to say something to Lisa R. along the lines of, "I need that back, Lisa".

QVC even has an 'as is' section on their website and of course, they are not selling used make up there. It's for samples that get used on air or returns that are not in new condition. They are still trying to sell the items but the sales figures get adjusted to reflect the lower price.

If it's OK, why does Lisa make the comments about security stopping her? Like I said, it's poor taste. Is she daring someone to stop her?

It just like working at a restaurant for example. At the end of a day, leftovers get thrown away. A lot of establishments do not donate to food banks or let employees take them home. Doing so would encourage employees to cook more food than they know they will serve and therefore, have free meals every night. Those samples should be collected and thrown away. Period.

Don't forget that hosts also get free samples before a product goes on the air. There is just no reason for her low class behavior.
