A five hour Philosophy show is scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, 9/18) from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

What are they trying to do? Kill us?

Lisa said Her Thighness will be doing part of that show....

How many products do they plan on showing?

I did hear Lisa R say there will be no PMStyle so we get overdose of cinnamon buns!

And don't forget the ever popular phrase, "Makeup Optional Skin".........blechhh.

I used Philosophy skincare and the only thing I got was a face full of zits. Although the Microdelivery Peel Pads and 2 piece Microdermabrasion is nice :)

Here's my two cents..

I wanted to try Philosophy very badly and I finally broke down and bought the body wash -bubble bath - shampoo combo in Cinnamon Roll and Pumpkin Pie. I must say I am extremely disappointed. First off the price is nuts, but I wanted to try it, so it's my own fault. As a shampoo, it doesn't clean my hair, as a bubble bath, the bubbles dissolve within seconds, and as a body wash, I still don't feel clean!! Needless to say I will not be watching it tomorrow.

I was very disappointed and will not be buying any more of their products, but it's just like anything - some people have great results and some don't.

I'm a don't. :o)

I found once you step out of the shower, the smell is GONE!

I tried the Hope In A Jar and the Purity, neither one of them liked my skin at all.......

I find St.Ives cleansers and scrubs are as good as anything else out there, they have products for sensitve skin too; and there are alot cheaper than Philosophy......It's also easier to purchase because it's available at Walhell (Walmart), Walgreen's, and other stores that aren't department stores.

Will not be attending. I do not like the product line and never will. IMO .... BIG name with LITTLE product. I have found similar products at half if not more than half their price and have been very happy with them. It is all a NAME GAME if you want my honest opinion. Why waste your $$$ for a NAME = PHILOSPHY which equals 'Waste Of One's Money!"

Pia, I am a fan of both Philosophy and Bare Escentual products.
With Phil., I cannot think of a little pod filled with powder, although I can with BE. Is your reference to BE, rather than Philosophy? If not, will you let me know which product you are referring to, because I can't think of it!!
Thanks,
Hershey

Philosophy has a supernatural powder foundation-A41654

and there is an amazing grace shimmer powder-A69543

Maybe it's one of the above. They are the only two Philosophy powder form products that I can think of.

I loved the Philosophy shower products for a year or so--then got tired of them. I found they were great for my hair and my color lasted longer (but I did need to add a conditioner). The disappearing smell is intentional (they figure people really don't want to walk around all day smelling like cinnamon buns--go figure!).

I do have a couple of things left I will pull out for the holidays (love love love the Hot Spiced Cider and Pumpkin Pie!) but for the most part, I've moved on...

Patti has her own kit with Philosophy? Gimme a break! The picture on the box is her as a "little" girl. What happened to her now? She is already interrupting Dara while she's talking. Time to change the channel.

And with all of the beauty products at her disposal, why does she insist on drawing on her eyebrows with a Sharpie marker (broad stroke)?

Christina Carlino looks like she's lost even more weight, at least from how her face looks. She is wearing black tonight and is standing behind the table so I can't really see the rest of her. But she definitely looks even thinner than at her last appearance, where we discussed here that she'd lost weight.

Maybe she's getting ready to jump ship over to skinny HSN...

I like the skin cleanser and moisturizer. The supernatural foundation sounded good but just didn't work for me. Nor did the shampoo.. The only fragrance I've liked that I tried from philosophy was "Falling In Love". The rest were a little too industrial for me.

I didn't see much of it but it sure didn't seem like they presented a ton of products over the five hours - unless they sold out of a lot of them. There was hardly anything left at the end of the show when they did the end of show review plus when I checked the Q website wasn't much there either.

I thought Patti's kit was very nice and the picture was darling. Patti must have been thrilled.

Christina did look great and she was being so nice with callers!

I'm loving the Amazing Grace body products and fragrance. I ordered a kit directly from Philosophy (thanks to Hershey!) and I can't say enough about the salt scrub - it's the best exfoliating product I've ever used. I can't get over how soft and smooth my hands and feet are. I thought they were in good shape before but now - wow. I love the firming body emulsion too - better than the body souffle or shimmer lotion - the emulsion just seems to be a better product as far as smoothing and softening the skin. I'm ready to buy the 32oz shower gel - I'll never stop using it. But I don't like it for my hair and I hate the conditioner.

I got a sample of airbrushed foundation from Philosophy and really like it but I've used it as a bronzer/powder - I prefer a liquid foundation with more coverage. I love Smashbox seamless foundation.

I've used the Purity cleanser two different periods now in about the last 9 or 10 months and it does make my skin break out a bit - on the sides of my face near my jawline. I've twice used Clinique mild soap to clear it up. I won't be using Purity any more. I like the Hope and a Prayer moisturizer and night cream (tho I use it as a daycream) and I'll continue using it for awhile. I think my skin isn't as dry as it's been so I'm happy with that. I've been using the peel pads and like them too. I bought the microdermabrasion kit and like that a lot too.

I'll never give up my Yves Rocher Rich Cream eye cream though.

I guess Philosophy is like any other brand - you love some of the stuff, you hate others.

Hi, Teena. How nice of you to acknowledge my suggestion again. You are quite welome; I'm glad you took advantage of the Philosophy web site. I know you've mentioned that you signed up for their newsletter. Just wanted to comment on their latest SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM - I got a new newsletter yesterday.
Free .05 oz. The Present with a $50 purchase - offer ends 9/25.
I really like The Present and recommend it. It's a wonderful primer for makeup.

I'm glad you tried the supernatural foundation through a free sample, and didn't have to spend any money on it to see if you liked it. I'm also glad you didn't have to pay QVC's S&H for each of the products you got! :)

Thanks Hershey! QVC's S&H prices are quite high IMO too. I've been using Smashbox's primer that I got in their last TSV and really like it so maybe I'll try The Present next time - I wondered if it was more like a primer - I never quite understood the clear makeup description.

For anyone that hasn't tried the "hope and a prayer" p.m. retinol capsules....they are great. You just twist the capsule open and mix it
with your night cream.
