lol ... ok, I'm not trying to offend anyone, but I saw this the other night during one of the jewelry shows at HSN ... and could only say to myself, WHY? Who would order this? It reminds me of the unicorn jewelry that was worn when I was in elementary school! AND ... $219 to boot! I can only shake my head ... I know we all have different tastes, but this is beyond bad (IMO).

A very wise lady I once worked for in Retail, said to all of us, "People Will Buy Almost Anything". And, she is right, and this item is testimony to that. They may not sell alot of them, but they Will sell some.

It reminds me of an ancient TV episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show. Dick has a "difficult" mom who gives Laura (Mary Tyler Moore) a family "heirloom", a huge pin the size of a hand of a map of the US with stones marking major cities. Laura hates it but wears it because she doesn't want to offend her MIL. The hideous pin practically covers her chest.
That was such a great series.

You are right Bee, its ugly. Not my taste at all. Very juvenile looking and don't even get me started on the price for that "horsey." Yikes!

It's there for those who have horsey people on their gift list--we have one, and always try to find something horsey for her, but not at that price!

You're right cat-lady...people will buy anything...then they unfortunately give them as gifts. One of my friends gets a unicorn from her mother in law every year at Christmas. Not just a unicorn, but a cheap ugly one from the dollar store with it's eyes painted on crooked or something. And she hates unicorns. lol
