Anyone have an opinion on this? I ordered 3 of them - 1 for myself, 2 for Christmas gifts. It seemed like a really good price and I do love Belgian waffles.

I didn't order the TSV, but I have several Krupp's kitchen items, and they're wonderful. I've never had a bit of trouble with them, and believe me, the blender and the coffeemaker, especially, have taken some beatings...I find their products to be very, very reliable.

I've been trying to decide if I should order it or not. I almost ordered the one they have on there all the time. The other one has the s/h included but I can still get it $10.00 cheaper from the BX catalog without tax and s/h. Decisions .... Decisions.....

The name Krups has been known for Quality in appliances for quite a while. It had some "snob appeal" at one time, too. Chances are this will not be a "lemon".

I finally bit the bullet and ordered it. I like the fact you can cook two waffles at a time. My husband loves waffles. We go to "Awful House" every Sun. morning around 7:30. This will be one of Christmas gifts maybe I can sleep in and get breakfast in bed.

Costco and Sam's Club both sell one for $49.00 but not sure if it's Krups brand. I have seen them presented on QVC several times and would love to have one but I probably wouldn't use it often and it looks like a pain to store.

Exactly! Just how much space do they think we have in our cupboards? I'd probably use it once in a while, but I wouldn't want to have to store that anywhere.

I think it looks like a good deal. I have the similar Waring model that flips. I got it several years ago from QVC, and have used it hundreds of times. It has held up very well. I was worried about cleanup since on that model the plates aren't removable, but have never had a sticking or cleanup problem. I just remember to use a little non-stick spray. It even came with a little measuring cup for adding just the right amount of batter to prevent overfilling. The waffles come out perfectly every time. I usually just use the boxed mix (Krusteaz). For around $2 including additional eggs and oil, I can make at least 10 big waffles at a time from one box of mix. I just bag and freeze them, pull as many out as needed, and they reheat very well. Makes for a quick, easy and inexpensive breakfast.

But they aren't nearly as good. Eggos are like cardboard.
