I got one home once, Garnet, (Not that one) and sent it back right away. I thought it was very cheaply made.
Coats are another thing I am no longer buying from QVC, as I can usually find something cheaper locally (pls. recall our ZeroXposure conversation off the BB where I found an OTO ZeroXposure jacket at TJ Maxx identical to the one on QVC). And they are too expensive to ship back if they don't work out.

Yes, I got the white w/ turquoise trim, which was the only color combo at TJ Maxx, but I"m happy with it. Just got it last Sat. and I haven't worn it yet.

I own a real one. I purchased it when we were stationed in Germany. I love the coat. It is great for COLD weather. QVC's seems to have some of the same features. I wouldn't mind having a fashion color, but it really doesn't get cold enough here. I would be lucky to get 2 wks. wear out of it. I don't get to wear the other one unless we travel during the winter months.
forgot to add: I own three Centigrade coats. Love them!

Garnet, I have this coat - it was a Christmas present from my husband three years ago. I have it in the chamois and I love it. I have gotten a lot of compliments wearing it and more importantly, it kept me warm during my long cold multi-block walk from the parking lot to the office. The only thing I did was to sew knit wrist cuffs in to keep out the wind. It washes well, but since you can't put it in the dryer, it does take a while to dry. For the price, I think it is an excellent value. Fair warning though, I am over 5'11" and it is plenty long enough for me, so it might dwarf a shorter person.

Thanks for the review Rebel Mom. I was going to order the petite but it sold out. I dont feel like going on waitlist for it :(
I have the long faux shearling in two colors. I think the fit runs a little small, at least for me it did. I had to size up. They are very warm and wash nicely.

I would think anyone 5"6" and under should go for the petite, when they come back in stock. It is a really long coat.
