We did this last year, but "Mary did you Know" (Clay Aiken does a great version), and "The Prayer" by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli are two of my favorites.

The prayer is fantastic, good choice LL.
More traditionally, my fave is "O Holy Night".

I think Madonna remade the song Kali
she does it in a betty boo voice, so you might not know it's her if you ever heard it
KaliChris

It's that voice I hate. No wonder I didn't know it was her. I think that's her version I hate anyway. Is that the one they play on all the pop stations at Christmas time?

I'm with you Acura. I must have every song Nat King Cole ever recorded. He had the most wonderful voice.
One of my favorites: The funny Alvin and The Chipmunks _ The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)
I remember getting a kick out of that one as a kid. I think we wore that album out.
....(all right you Chipmunks! Ready to sing your song?
-I'll say we are!
-Yeah!
-Let's sing it now!
Okay, Simon?
-Okay!
Okay, Theodore?
-Okay!
Okay, Alvin? Alvin? ALVIN!
-OKAY!!!)
Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast
Want a plane that loops the loop
Me, I want a hula hoop
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don't be late.
lol...8^)
Frosty the snoman has always been my favorit.

I tend listen to really off the beaten path music at Christmas. I love Olde English Hymns sung by choirs (often in Latin). One in particular was re-done in the early seventies by a band called SteelEyeSpan. It's called "Gaudete" which means rejoice. It is so beautiful and the singer, Maddy Prior has the sort of voice that transports you back in time to Merry Olde England.
On a more modern note I love:
Father Christmas ~Greg Lake
Solstice Bells ~ Jethro Tull
Run With the Fox ~ Chris Squire (Yes)
