This is the BEST cd I've bought in a long time! I recommend it to all!
Track #2, You are loved (don't give up) gives me goosebumps, and brings me to tears.
I adore this guy!!! Anybody else listen to it yet?

Oh Bee! Thanks so much for telling me it was out. I am going to get it tomorrow! I NEVER get tired of his voice! He is so good! I'll be sure to listen for that song!

OK -- I was going to buy this for my hubby for Christmas. Are you telling me I can't wait that long? I absolutely love his voice.
He is doing a concert to accompany this new cd. I'm thinking of kidnapping my hubby from work and taking him for his birthday, as that's close to when he's performing (semi-locally).
For anyone who has NEVER heard his voice, go listen at amazon.com or something. You will LOVE him! Thanks for starting this thread, Bee!!!

Skeeter, I guess you can wait to buy it, as long as you do actually buy it (but that's between you and me, k?)

My husband will always be at a loss as to how I can go from listening to The Who's BRILLIANT new CD; Endless Wire to Josh Groban...............but I do.
Awake is an excellent CD!!
I wish that Josh would do a Christmas CD, the few Christmas songs I have heard him perform are simply beautiful.

VCR Alert...
Josh will be on Regis & Kelly tomorrow morning (Friday) - Howie Mandel guest co-host... (that's either a plus or a minus, LOL...)

Sparks, my hub teases me too (my musical taste). I go from pop, to classical, to alternative, to rock, to spanish ... drives him nuts. He never wants to take my car anywhere. lol ...

LOL, Bee...
She doesn't talk while he singing.... *rolling eyes back at Bee*
You don't have the luxury of switching back and forth, I guess... Definitely time for a dual DVR, Bee... You know you want to!

I'm not at home, it's being recorded ... and they are both on at the same time. I will not do another VCR ... if I did that, I'd end up recording even more shoes than I do now ... and I just can't watch any more tv! NO NO NO!
I just checked the View web-site, Kyle MacLachlan (ABC's "Desperate Housewives"); Harry Shearer, Catherine O'Hara and Parker Posey ("For Your Consideration).
I will watch Josh on R&K! Thanks for the heads up PK!

Here's a thought, Bee...
Can you set your timers manually to tape the first half hour of the View and the second half hour of Live?
You could have the best of both programs that way...

I don't really love the R&K show (don't hate me). I think they are both funny (R&K), but I'd rather watch all of the View. I watched R&K last Friday too (Madonna). I feel a bit guilty ... like I'm being unfaithful to my girls ... lol ...

I know how you feel about the View... <grin>
I only meant splitting your timer tomorrow only... The singer is never the first guest... And usually the last...
But it's probably a hassle setting and resetting, and stuff... I have to get the book out everytime I want to transfer something to tape...

Oh, no I can't do that. My cable box changes channels (not the VCR) but only at the beginning or end of a scheduled show, not in the middle.

Well THAT'S a bummer...

I don't know what CD of his it's on, but I heard him sing 'O Holy Night' recently.
This is my hands-down all time favorite Christmas Carol, and I've heard some pretty good renditions of it.....but this was the first time I've ever had a version bring tears to my eyes upon hearing it. It was so good, there are not words to describe.
His voice is a gift from the angels.

He also does a version of Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" that is simply magnificent and one of my favorites by Josh.

That show really is a waste of time. I think in all, there were about 5 awards (3 hours), the rest were performances, most of which I didn't want to see. I guess they issue the main awards before the actual ceremony. I had to find out that Kelly Clarkson won best female pop artist, and best female adult contemporary artist ... this morning on the web. I say less crappy performances, more awards that we want to see!
