I cannot believe they are actually trying to portray this kit as something useful for snow. Did you see that small little shovel? That's going to do nothing!! As someone who lives in the most Northern part of the continental US - I would never buy this!! Dan Wheeler just said "Who can keep a full size shovel in their trunk?" Umm.. me!! And I don't even have an estimate of how many times I've needed to use it. This whole set reminds me of one of those pre-packaged gifts you could get at Target that will be 50% off the day after Christmas.
I guess I'm just irked in general at how bad the TSV's have been as of late.

I watched in unbelief as the TSV was presented this morning...yuck! I can buy a heated scraper at my local drug store for $9.99, who needs the little shovel, and the brush thingy sells at my local Ace Hardware store for $7.99. All told, I can do much better than the TSV price for tacky plastic stuff and save shipping and handling as well. And you're right--as someone who lives in the mountains of Massachusetts, the shovel is a joke!

Thanks for backing me up Barbi - I'm originally from Worcester MA, (that's where I am right now visiting family!!), but I wouldn't buy it here either!! I was at the Christmas Tree Shop yesterday and they had much better snow removal tools then this and much less expensive!!

Some woman caller just ordered three of them, which proves there is a sucker born every minute.
And, at least two people who will be receiving sucker gifts!

Very funny, you guys!
I still can't believe something this cheap is a TSV. And, IceCat, don't you just love the Christmas Tree Shops? My favorite is the one at the Sagamore Bridge as you enter Cape Cod--I purchased a huge lobster pot (which I use for everything but) for $10.95...I've used it and used it and used it for years--and it's as good as new. Locally, the most inexpensive ones run $29.99 or so.

This TSV rivals the grass seed as the most stupid.
The only people I can envison buying this one is the viewers in Hawaii who don't know any better, using bill to/ship to to send it to someone who has wintry weather in the continental USA. Really.

I love the Sagamore one Barbi! I think the Cape Cod ones are the best - I like the one in Hyannis as well. Since I moved last January to Northern Maine, I've been Christmas Tree Shop-less (if that's a word), so when I visit down here I stock up. Oddly enough, the shovel that lives in my trunk during the winter came from there a few years ago and has held up really well for being an 5 dollar shovel!
Hershey, I heard the woman who bought three of them - Can you imagine spending 100.00 on 3 sets?! What a waste!
