New Years Eve Plans????

What is everyone doing NYE? I have to hostess at the restaurant / bar I work at ... I will be done at 0930pm and plan on spending the night at HOME with my boyfriend. I do not like to be out on the roads NYE! A good pizza and some beer sounds mighty fine for me.

We were going to have a Open House, just have people come over when they want, but Christmas just tired me out. I had finals the week before, and then Christmas. I just feel like I haven't stopped since Thanksgiving. Also I had to take down all my Christmas Decorations in a day because we were having some furniture delivered.

So I will be sharing Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza with my better half. Maybe watch the ball drop. I may sleep through it because now I have an ear infection as well. Ouch...

Staying in w/DH. He's watching lots of football this whole weekend and I'm going through a bunch of DVDs we received for Christmas. We'll also be trying out my new Monopoly "Here and Now" edition. I'm exhausted after all the holiday festivities and am soooo looking forward to some down time. I hope everybody has a safe and Happy New Year! Looking forward to posting with you all in 2007 :)

I'll probably stay in this year. I've had the flu for the past 6 days, plus I'm feeling the loss of a member of my community. He was one of the most talented young high school football players to ever wear a jersey...he took his own life last night. Very sad time here.

As many of you know, my dream New Year's Eve would be seeing gorgeous comic Caroline Rhea perform in concert but sadly that's NOT gonna happen because she's not performing anywhere on NYE. But I got her CD for Christmas (you can get it on her website) so that's the next best thing. For several years, a couple I know would have their annual shindig but last year they NEVER held it and I wound up staying at my sister's house. I guess they have decided NOT to do it again because I'm at my sister's for the weekend! My other 2 dreams are for me to win a boatload of money in the lottery & for the New York Mets to win the World Series! WE are supposed to go to friends to watch the Baltimore Ravens football game. But hubby wasnt feeling too good last night, so I will have to wait and see if he feels better this morning. If he does we are going there, and will definetly come home before the drinkers hit the roads...

I'm watching Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. The cast of "Jersey Boys" just performed a few songs. I so want to see that show when I go to NYC again. Ryan Seacrest interviewed some really hot NYC cops. And I digress... LOL
