Silly Putty!

Every now and then I get a crazy thought and turn over to HSN and then I remember why they're so wacky. Todays's value is a putty set. How appropriate for New Year's eve! The last time I checked over there it was some floozy blouse from Suzanne, so at least they're consistent with the absurd.

I keep trying to "get" HSN, but I just don't. QVC is not perfect & has some issues, but I much prefer to watch/buy from them.

Say what you want, but the "silly putty" really, truly works. I purchased a set of three tubes of the stuff last year for a rather mundane repair--since that time, I have not even used up one roll, and I have fixed things with the stuff that I never, ever thought could be fixed. And, what's even better, is that so many repairs are on the back of frames and furniture that no one is the wiser.

Well, the Silly Putty has to rank right up there with the Q's towels TSV - was it yesterday? - and the grass seed we all remember.

I tried to watch HSN, but everything looks so cheesy, not upscale. But, I did buy the Michael DeCesare liquifix when the Q no longer carried it.

Thanks to Hoosier Girl for her comment about Lisa M and the Big Hawaiin ~ I agree, why do they not "look like a couple"??????
